Well I didn't know that, I'll check my disc now lol
EDIT: No area to scratch, was it only the US copies?
Remember playing one of the first Gran Turismo for the Playstation 2 as a kid, the memories driving that pagani zonda concept are inked into my brain.
Edit: It was Grand Turismo: A-Spec
I spent so much time on that it was ludicrous. I would spend hours and hours shaving milliseconds of my lap times.
It was the only game that would work on my PS2, I think because its a CD not DVD, al DVD games and movies failed to load.
Looks like GT3 is running out the clear winner here....
Fast forward to 2007 when I bought a PS3, had some fun with it playing Metal gear solid, Resistance 2 co-op, Killzone and of course GT5 but again I was thwarted by faulty hardware, not once but thrice, I managed to temp fix it 2 out of those 3 times but the last time was impossible so I gave up and always thought I would buy a new PS3 but I never did and now never will because Sony is closing down online features for GT5.
There is connection here. The only reason I stopped playing on the systems is due to hardware failures.
My Ps1 still goes strong.
GT3: A-Spec the clear winner then!
Have to say I'm a little surprised. I can only think that the graphical jump from ps1 to ps2, along with nostalgia played a part in the result
You still need to play GT6!
