Speaking of Project Cars, some fresh screens have been added to their site, probably PC but even though they look so good I had to share them :D
Well I can't really say anything on here (as you expected) but all I'll say is it's certainly interesting. I couldn't get my joypad to be recognised for some reason so I was playing with the keyboard and surprisingly it worked well.
Certainly will be keeping my eye on it. especially if it's as bigger world as they say it is! Hopefully we shall start to see a few more gameplay video's of it at Gamescom!
Well here it is guys, F1 2014 for PS3:
F1 will be on next gen but not till early 2015, shall let you read the details below but it's not all bad news that it's not coming to next gen just yet:
First things first, we’re working on two new Formula 1 titles – one on old gen, the other on new gen.
Coming October 17th is F1 2014 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Drawing upon all our experience in developing Formula 1 titles down the years, F1 2014 recreates this year’s incredible season featuring all the seismic changes to the sport, including new turbocharged cars, new circuits plus all the driver moves.
The game also includes refined handling on a pad and a new driver evaluation system that tunes game settings to your skill level to increase accessibility – we want all of our players to race competitively, more quickly. Of course, all the veterans of the series will be able to experience the true challenge of racing this year’s stunning generation of cars, featuring more explosive power delivery but less downforce, by customising your options and turning off all the assists.
Scenario mode has been expanded, we’ve refined career mode options and there’s more info to come, but for now we’ll let Stephen Hood, our creative director on F1, introduce you to some of the headline changes in the sport and the game..
“There’s been a dramatic shift in the sport; the largest shake up in the rules and regulations for a very long time and the new power units provide a very different kind of challenge, for both driver and team. By delivering all of these changes, F1 2014 will make for an exciting and refreshingly different experience. Additionally, with the new driver evaluation system analysing each player’s skill level and suggesting appropriate game settings, plus re-graded difficulty levels including a brand new Very Easy setting, we aim to deliver a thoroughly rewarding F1 experience for players of all abilities, from the novice to the seasoned pro.”
Now onto new-gen. 2015 will see us release our first title on new-generation platforms. The game will launch earlier in the Formula One season and then go onto receive live digital updates. These updates will deliver 2015 content into the game as the season unfolds, ensuring you’ll be competing against the same drivers and teams you watch week in and week out!
We’re incredibly excited about new-gen F1 and we know you are too. We’re not yet ready to reveal everything about it yet, but we’ll have a lot more info to share once F1 2014 launches this October.
Roll on October!
PC version for me :) I won't rub it in.... Too much
Think I'm going to skip this one and get 2015 because Williams is going to be the best car to drive next year and McLaren will have a Honda engine. :D
Unlucky lads eh :P
Looks like a stop gap to me between f1 2013 and 2015, think I'll be buying my ps4 for 2015
Only thing that bugs me about them is I never play more than one season. 2010 is the only one I played for 3 seasons. One for Sauber, Red Bull and then Ferrari
Well this is what Project Cars were waiting to announce today:
Project CARS Collector's Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses Announced
Bandai Namco has revealed Project CARS Limited Edition, along with pre-order bonuses for the next-gen racer.
The Limited Edition of the game is set to come in a steel case, and includes a behind-the-scenes book called "By Racers 4 Racers". The book will offer a look at the inner workings of Slightly Mad Studios and tracks the story of how the entirely crowd-funded game came into being.
Five legendary cars are also included for anyone who buys this version of the game, along with special one-make series career invitations to showcase them in. The cars are the Ford GT40 Mk IV, BMW M1 Pro Car, McLaren F1, Sauber C9 and the Mercedes-Benze AMG C-Coupe DTM.
Pre-ordering the game will net you the Modified Car Pack, unlocking the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R, Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster and Ariel Atom 3 Mugen for use in any game mode.
Project CARS, an acronym for "Community Assisted Racing Simulator", features a dynamic weather system plus time-of-day effects, a wide range of car types and racing, realistic race weekends, and what Slighty Mad Studios claims is the largest track roster of any recent racing game. Project CARS will also support both Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus. The Wii U version of the game recently delayed to 2015, though the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions are still expected in November 2014.
Depending on price I will probably get the Limited Edition version of the game.
Was hoping for more gameplay footage and news on mods for console version
I hope I get some extra perks for being a kickstarter. :D
