I can see SE relying heavily on Eidos' IPs in the future but I doubt they'll kick Final Fantasy to the back door. Not as long as it still has a loyal worldwide following.

SE wants to try a trilogy for a change. I may not care for the FFXIII cast/universe but there's really nothing wrong with that. It'll sell regardless.
