is there something i don't get? i press new game and the view just spins and spins showing the world... and never starts.. i let it spin for a few min and nothing happens... what the heck.

Alrighty, thought i'd give it another update. I reopened it, double checked it all, got it all back together and it seems to be much better now. I"m guessing I had something loose or something. Now...

wow, sorry, i guess my settings have changed and I did'nt get the emails. I'll probably give it the old cleaning tonight.

Just thought i'd ask. I have a 60 gb ps3, works great, no issues.

but the fan always comes on kinda loud, don't seem to put out much heat, or to get hot.

Ok, I'm trying to give killzone 2 a playthrough. I like everthing but the controles. Only 4 options and every one forces you to put zoom on a joystick.. That's just cumbersome to try to push it Down...

only a few games are copy protected... like posted above, use a jump drive and you're set... that or the thing where you hook them up with a ethernet cable and it'll transfer that way..

sounds like the hdd failed. A new one can be gotten for very cheap. I bet you could find a replacement 40gb for about 10 bucks on ebay, for about 50 you could find a MUCH larger one. It is very easy...
