To be fair, if the game renders in 3D at 30fps, why on earth shouldn't it run at 60fps without 3D? Or am I missing the point entirely?

Spec 2.0 is a very impressive update considering it is free. Almost on a par with subscription based MMO support.

I'm really hoping that a stable 120 FPS (3D instantly catered for) will be the staple. No screen tearing. No jaggies.
