Didn't they say the same thing about HDMI and 1080p support before the Elite was announced?

I really don't like this trend of Bethesda making a list of 'cool mods' users created on PC and then releasing them on Xbox Live as 'premium' content. If they're going to do that at least make this...

I was under the impression that it simply cost the publisher more to go with more than one disc.

It shouldn't need to be patched to be a playable game out of the box. Furthermore, Bethesda knew what rough shape the PS3 version was in before the game was released.

Bethesda isn't known for their amazing programmers or very well optimized games. It's true, most programmers probably wouldn't even attempt to make a game like Skyrim on modern hardware, let alone...

The shooter genre always becomes stale over time, and some dev has to make a game that goes beyond what is thought to be possible in order to make it fresh once again... and to get people thinking...

Just keep in mind that this is the same company that brought you Frontlines.

Try clearing the cache on your Xbox 360. System> Memory> Y> Clear Cache. Restart.

If that fails, it's likely the disc that's the problem.
