We may see a Nintendo vs Apple battle in the coming years. It would be nice to see Nintendo backed up by a major player like Sony or they may go the way of Sega.

As well as the financial considerations discussed aboved, on the gaming side does anyone think Sony would benefit from the acquisition of Nintendo's IPs and experience with motion controls?

Yes, people dismissing this as a fail thread on financial grounds have no idea.

As the OP I think personally this will never happen because Nintendo would never sell out.

This would give Sony access to Nintendo's IPs and experience with motion controls.

Also, Sony could keep the Wii and Playstation brands separate and get the best of both worlds.

Sony should buy Nintendo and get hold of Zelda.

It's so obviously a copy of the Wii.

Die-hard Sony fans will say otherwise but an average consumer going into a game shop will see it that way.

3D needing you to wear specs isn't really 3D in my book.

We want 3D you can just see for it's own sake.
