Lumines, which gained its cult following due to its addictive gameplay on the PlayStation Portable, has seen adaptations of its franchise to the XBL Marketplace and now finally the PlayStation Network. This new installment of Lumines will follow the same procedure as its predecessors with the exception of new stages and modes.

Apparently there are 40 new skins to be unlocked via the Challenge Mode. On top of this, Lumines Supernova will provide a couple of new game modes that include Sequencer Mode and Dig Down Mode. Sequencer Mode will give gamers the chance to create their own background music which takes place through various loops and sounds.

Lumines Supernova is scheduled for release this fall.

When you add a game to the database, please do two minutes of research beforehand so you can put in more than the name, genre, and platform. At the very least put TBA for the date, publisher, and developer so they don't appear blank on the banner. I've updated the game page, but I shouldn't have had to.
