We need Editors!
There is a ton of news, previews, and 1 editorial and 1 interview that ahve yet to be posted. Now I know Cera and Bhav cannot be online 24/7 putting all news articles every second of the day but we do need someone to come in and check at least twice a day for news articles to go live. Otherwise we are going to have news that gets old and news that once put live on our site is news that was read on every other site already.
Also, I know Rebon is busy with the new site so he is not able to do much either.
What can we do to resolve this?

You've got direct access to the CMS already. Why don't you do it?

I think promoting Cera was a great start..I don't see any need for another editor at the current moment.
Perhaps in the near future when more journalists sign on. But between Kieran, Bhavin and Jingyu I think we're fine for now.

I am not saying we should promote anymore people.....just that our current editors need to check in once in a while and if there is stuff to be done to help out.
P.S. srry if I am sounding mean...I am trying to say everything in the nicest way possible....picture this
and then me saying everything...lol

I think another editor will be good as well. Right now, Bhav is on 56k while I'm having trouble accessing the server >< I'll randonly be able to go to it and then not being able to connect to it at all. I'm using a web proxy ATM, but that has restrictions :s
Why do people depend on eachother? ...When in the end your on your own.

It's an issue right now due to Bhav's 56k and Cera's proxy problems. Hopefully they both should be cleared up soon (not as sure about Cera's?), and then we'll be back on form.
However, this is a longer-term issue as well, and we'll be looking at recruiting some really high-calibre staff once the new site is live (16/17/18 November).
Does that sound like a suitable solution overall? I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts.

Well...its been about a week and we still have like 6 previews waiting to go up and news thats been sitting there for more than a day. I think we need to address Bhav and Cera about this, see what they think, and if they can't fix the problem soon, promote someone new to Editor that can be online more.

Previews are not really a matter of urgency, whilst news articles are. You make it sound as if the site will collapse if we don't keep publishing new previews
I appreciate that they're not getting up as fast as you'd like, but don't worry they'll all be up in good time.

This is getting ridiculous guys, and it needs to be sorted out SOON. We have a ton of old articles in the news section, most of which won't get the hits they would have gotten had they been posted in a timely manner.
Good job editors.

This is just pathetic now. Where the hell are the editors? We should elect some new ones or something, because nothing is moving right now. I'd do it.

Thank you Bhav for posting all those articles today. It was a big help and I know you are still having difficulties with your 56k.
Ian, you should probably cool down now. We got new stuff up now and Rebon will be on tomorrow to get the rest. Perhaps Bhav will get the last of the previews up as well.
Where is Cera though...havent seen her in a while.
