Call of Duty 4 in 1080P and Online Max PLayers = 18?

I know there are already tons of threads out there about COD4 but i didn't see anything yet on whether or not this game is going to display true 1080p. The Pic taken from the back of the game does read 720p/1080i/p. Does anyone know if this is this a misprint?

Also, THere is word in other forums that there will be no Dedicated Server support for COD4. Only P2P. Same with the 360. Can anyone confirm this?

There are other threads on this. Come on. There are dedicated servers on PS3 at least and the max is 16 i believe.

Supported resolutions are always denoted on the back of game cases (like they do on Xbox360) but the actual render resolution is 720p for both consoles.

CoD4 is 16 players multiplayer how ever one game mode allows for 18 players, both Xbox360 and PS3 versions.

The only differences between the two versions were a few minor changes in the rendering of shadows and some environments because of the way the Xbox360 and PS3 actually work. It's not a 'one is better than the other' version, just a different way of doing things due to the hardware differences, supposedly both better one another in different area's.

This is such a mute issue it's not funny though. It's a fanboy pissing content at most.

Nope. And it's random when you wanna join a game. Unlike warhawk, where you can choose which room you want. It's something like halo 3's matchmaking.

man how are clans gonna battle each other then? will it be like warhawk where you can make youre system a dedicated server for other people to play? because if the game forces people to randomly host games the game quality will suffer since internet connections vary and dsl is adequate when playing games but its just terrible when hosting them... we dont all have fios.. blah!

You can host private matches...I'm sure that's how clan matches will be done.
