PS3 controllers not working

A couple days back one of my controllers just stopped working. I was playing and then I got that blank screen saying Controller Disconnected. I tried pressing the PS button but nothing happened. So I thought maybe the charge is over and connected it to the USB and nothing. So I thought maybe the USB cable is also messed up so took out my other controller and it seemed to work just fine and was charging with the same USB cable. Thats one broke.

Last night the same thing happened with the other controller. Just stopped working right in the middle of the game and nothing happens after that. I tested the USB cable again with a camera to see if it works and it does. And the controller was also fully charged.

Did anyone face this problem?

try completely shutting off the ps3 with the main power switch then it might be fixed when its on again . . maybe

Did that. Even reset my system to see if it makes a difference. Nothing. I think they are dead!!!

Press the reset button on the back of the controller (little hole just big enough for a pin)

yes try pressing the reset button on the controller , my friend have the same problem and that fixed , i hope it does with you

Tried resetting the controller but still didnt work. I guess its broken
