NCAA Basketball Thread

Well season starts here in a few weeks and I figured we needed a thread as this is my 2nd favorite sport to watch behind NFL, well my favorite team is the Pittsburgh Panthers and well hopefully they do well, cause I'm iffy as they have to replace Gray and Kendall, they'll probably just have to run more instead of being a slow methodical offense, can't wait to see some games, I need my fix.

i can't wait for the season to start. UCLA fan here. i forgot what they ranked us going in but were in the top 5. we still got collison and josh shipp plus we got one of the top recruits in kevin love. final four here we come.

lol, how did MSU lose to Grand Valley state! Thats like the equivilant to the UM and App.State game. But, it was only a preseason game, so...

And Micheal Jordan's son will be playing at Illinois this season, can't wait to watch him.
And I want UofM to have a great season, it's been a while since I was even satified with my Basketball Wolverines.

I just looked at Pittsburgh first game and they play Houston Baptist, I wonder how much Pitt paid for that game, we should win by like 50. Speaking of this game I think it's a preseason game so they may not have payed them at all.

This is so stupid allowing all the big east teams in the tourney, also they should break up into 2 sections as 16 in one section is massive.

Yeah he's awesome, Derrick Rose is solid as well. I haven't seen any of the other solid recruits yet, going to have to catch Beasly or Gordon game sooner or later and my Pitt is slowly crawling up the ranks by beating no one's...now #17.

Edit 2: haha George Mason is at it again by beating Kansas St., Beasley had 30 pts and 10 rbs, he's averaging 30 pts and 17.5 rbs through 4 games.

I hate being right ;(. Anyways this needs bumped because college b-ball is awesome and deserves more posts. Man Pitt's win last night was much needed, if we would have become borderline tourney team.

Duke will not even be an Elite 8 team

Like their outside shooting but they are generally a cold 2nd half shooting team and struggled the last few years come tournament time but luckily gotten away with it until they play a big boy team (LSU with Tyrus, MSU, VCU....well, VCU beat them)
