This isnt the seventies either where Sony has to worry about Japanese legislation regarding pornagraphy laws. They have a free license to allow pornagraphy on BD-Rom. They didnt have that luxury with Betamax.

cost per unit drops as BD- discs are made in bulk. Basically, the cheaper BluRay technology gets, the faster the price can drop on the PS3 making it more competitive.

well just think about this Porn on a 1080p 60" HDTV on Blu-Ray at 120FPS my GOD! lol jenna Jameson would love it i am sure her next big Video would be in HD and since she has the top selling Adult Video's it could make a huge impact on the format and i am sure alot of people buying these videos would want to watch it in HD so they gotta go get an new HDTV (Top Story:Porn sale send HDTV and Blu-Ray sales through the roof)

Well, only the big name porn studios would be able to film in Hi-def because of its cost but besides that porn will be on Blu-ray.

Just look at the PSP. UMD came out recently and there are already porn movies on it and blu-ray will be no different.

And we all know that you could fit a good couple hours on a 50Gb blu-ray not to mention how much DVD quality video you could keep on that disk so even if it isnt HD it will still be well worth your money.. :P

Good news that "Digital Playground", a giant in the porn industry with 40% marketshare, is apparently going to backup the Blu-Ray format due to the PS3 and its trojan horse function in the next-gen format and of course the BD's superior storage capacity potential
