It appears the FCC and CRIA and others was recently given more power over taking down bit torrent sites and P2P servers because bit torrent sites have been shutting down left and right now. And americans are banned from downloading on Torrentspy

It was a community that had lots and lots of torrents. Lots of torrents. Membership was limited and was only open about once a month. Otherwise, you had to get an invite code from someone you knew that's a member. They were really big on sharing, so there was a whole ratio system, the more you download, the more you should upload. But yeah, it was awesome for great quality torrents.

Several mjor sites have been shut down recently. Even Isohunt has been threatned lately to be attacked by theese idiots.
I mean yea there is pirating on them but they do good to so why shut the whole site down? O well....
