edo tensei will pretty much end now in my opinion from two scenarios:

- Kabuto's will breaks from being stuck in the loop and gets desperate to escape and cancels edo tensei in the hopes of escaping the loop
- Kabuto has a change of heart and agrees to end edo tensei ( seeing as the loop constantly has Itachi talking, trying to relate to him and ease his "evilness")

Although that probably wont happen until we've seen more of the kage fight.

I can see madara surviving edo-tensei as kabuto didnt summon him in first place, Muu did.

So my guess was half right; Izanami worked by first breaking Kabuto's demeanor and weakening his mental state. Now he's experiencing an infinite mental torture that will destroy him completely.

thats a good point I kind of hope madara isn't defeated by edo cancel anyways It's about time he's surpassed even if he has hashirama's abilities and edo benefits XD

Very good point; at first I was thinking the summon would be undone anyway because when Kabuto releases the summons Muu would go back to being dead, but then I realized the summon has to be undone and doesn't go away even if the user is killed.

That means they'll have to defeat Madara and seal him somehow.

On a different subject, I'm kind of disappointed that they haven't killed any other main character; when they killed Azuma was a good twist in the anime and gave it a more serious tone, considering this is a great war I would expect more of them dieing.

I can also see madara being killed off, then brought back to life again, as that was the whole plan tobi had for madara, i still think tobi is madara or atleast part of him, mainly because of one page right after Pain was killed

great chapter. Although Kabuto may turn good, it does raise the possibility that kabuto can use the only way out to his advantage by faking that he's accepted destiny (if thats even possible, but then again hes one of those types that can decieve himself XD ).

I also liked how they showed his brother in the war too

About the whole tobi being madara, i still want to believe that a little myself. I can imagine madara fading and saying something similar to sephiroth at the end of ff7:advent children "i will not be forgotten" or "i wont remain a memory" and then appear as true living being through tobi.

What happened to Madara's brother? I don't remember what the story was, did he died? If not, is it possible he took Madar's eyes so Tobi is Madara's brother?

Actually Madara took Izuna's eyes and not vice versa.

Madara took izuna eyes in desperation when he was going blind, the next bit though is a mystery tobi said izuna gave his eyes willingly whille itachi said madara took them forcefully and izuna died right there and then but the official data book states izuna lost his eyes but then died in battle

I know he took his eyes, but if he gave up his eyes willingly then most likely he didn't die which means he could have then taken back Madara's eyes... probably still unlikely, I'm just trying to come up with a fresh theory.

Finally had the time to read the latest chapter and holy hell, that Susano-o was immense!. There is no way the five Kage's can win. Period!. But Itachi will most likely end the Edo tensei or who knows. If Chille's theory is correct, Madara will remain regardless.

Because the last few times he did that poke he sealed something away remember at the end of the itachi vs sasuke fight he sealed ameratsu into sasukes eyes thats why sasuke had itachis ms look original it was to activate the moment he saw tobi sharingan, so my guess its some sort of genjustu to show what really happened at the massacre or the 2 legendary susanoo weapons which knowing itachi san will only unlock once sasuke tries to protect konoha

My guess is that susanoo is made up of the same type of chakra as a tailed beast, and as the first hokage could control them madara didnt even use it, atleast in the final fight, because whats the point if the opponent can supress it + the huge chakra cost

Susanoo once summoned using the mangekyo sharingan slowly shortens your total lifespan as said by itachi and the comment by sasuke during the kage summit arc says he felt like his whole body was dieing and painful whille even rib cage susanoo was on.
