Chapter 606:
This was a really good chapter IMO, we get to see the origin of the black setsu, and they also talk about how Minato got the Rinnegan. The only thing I didn't like was that it felt rushed; Madara is like I'll teach you this, and this, and this, and then right away it was like OK we are done... I'll assume in reality a lot of time is supposed to have passed even though it didn't seem like it on the manga.

And looks like next week we'll see where Orochimaru and Sasuke are going to.
I guess the truth about Rin's death won't be revealed until later on; probably when Kakashi and Obito are fighting and one of them is about to lose.

I didn't catch this either, was it when Obito went to retrieve the bodies?
I didn't like how they just gave rinnegan to Madara, and why did he gave them to Nagato and not to Obito... I guess he passed them to Nagato before meeting Obito, but why didn't they simply took them back and implanted them in Obito?

Anyway, since they said rinnegan can come to those who have sharingan, do you think Sasuke will end up with rinnegan too?

nagato was more comptable as he has Uzumaki dna, unlike Obito who is only partial senju

controlling kyuubi is a standard tech for MS owners, and as Madara was the kyuubi previous summon master, he could of easily passed it down to Obito .

He wasn't exactly a kid anymore though right? that flashback jumped alot through time. kakashi at this point was a young adult in the anbu so i'd say they were in their early 20's.

This was an interesting chapter, too bad we'll have to wait 2 weeks for the next one. I was hoping they would show more about Sasuke, but I guess we'll ses that next time... hopefully.

its not really, madara taught him everything he knows, sasuke with 3 Tomoe sharingan supressed Kyuubi with 0 training, makes sense an MS user trained by Madara can summon and control it

Do not know that now, we prob learn it during the Kakashi vs Obito Fight. My guess is she was being controlled by the enemy and they had no way to stop it so he killed her. Couldn't let the info she knows fall into enemy hands.

I think something was up with Kakashi he acted very surprised. Saying "It pierced through her?" Either he got caught up in some sort of genjutsu or something else. Kakashi wouldn't have just killed Rin because of the promise He made with Obito. Just my guess.

I dont see how he could. He should be almost out of chakra for using kamui so many times.

You know how anime goes, even if they are almost done for they have a sudden inspiration and do it. The other alternative is Kakashi at least starts blocking and at the same time explains why he had to kill Rin, and Obito starts to lose it as he learns the truth.

I don't see obito doing this completely all for rin. He was similar to naruto: underachieving compared to his peers, looked down upon by them and constantly in the shadow of kakashi's success. Rin, it seems, was the only one he made a bond with at first so she also acted as a bridge to the rest of the kids. When that bridge was burnt down before him he lost his connection with the village I suppose.

The moons eye plan had 2 key pros for him:
1. No more losers
2. To live with Rin again

Edit: he has some similarities to hinata too in the sense that he could never confess his feelings to rin. He was someone who kept all his feelings to himself where atleast naruto was in your face with how he felt about sakura XD
