Last week's announcement of Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires for the PS2 came as no surprise. Afterall, the Dynasty Warriors series has a pattern of three entries for a given number, so there was no way Koei could be expected to stop with last November's Xtreme Legends update.
It turns out that Koei was holding the surprise back for today. Empires will be coming not just to the PS2, but to the Xbox 360 as well, the company revealed today. Both versions of the game will hit Japan simultaneously in March.
Currently, the Xbox 360 has one Dynasty Warriors title in Japan, Dynasty Warriors 5 Special (we're using the US name throughout this story -- in Japan, the series is known as Shin Sangoku Musou). That game improves marginally on the PS2 version of Dynasty Warriors 5, with the big upgrade coming in the switch to high definition.
Koei hasn't announced what differences we can expect between the two versions of Empires. Also, just so you know, neither version has been announced for stateside release as of this writing.

Hopefully Koei take the time and make Dynasty Warriors empire a true next gen on Xbox360. Not just with a few upgrade on graphics.

I was so hyped when I saw this thread. But Dynasty Warriors 5 Special was confirmed already. And I heard DW Empire was awful.
So no news about Dynasty Warriors 6, bah... :/ Oh well, at least they are making Bladestorm...Man who chase after bus get exhausted, man who run in front of bus get tired

[LIVE] First Uncharted: Drake's Fortune movie details
Kotaku has been bothering Hollywood director Ari Arad for news of his latest project, the film version of PlayStation 3 classic Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. No casting details are available yet, we're afraid, but Arad had plenty to say about Naughty Dog's cinematic action adventure.
"The best thing about Drake is he's not an archeologist,” he said. “He's not a benevolent guy, but he's certainly not a great guy. Indiana Jones was always a good guy and he relentlessly did the right thing. Drake is a guy who's being hauled over to virtue throughout the game."
Arad plans to "mix things up a bit" when it comes to the film, chiefly by filling in the picture prior to Drake's journey to the island. He's also keen to get viewers thinking about modern-day South American piracy, which Naughty Dog had already researched in creating the game.
Plenty more after the link, but watch out for spoilers.
