who is actualy still playing ps2?

I dusted off the good ol ps2 today, got me a copy of sims 2 castaway, which was $5 new, slashed from $30, I had to get that, Also played some Red Faction II multiplayer and V8 Supercars 3 ( Toca race driver 3 ).

The Sims 2 Castaway is addictive, ps2 version is slow, poor framerate,a lot of load times, but hey, I like it. Especially new and sealed for $5

Like many people I didn't have the money at launch and decided to try waiting for a price drop. Unfourtunately with no bc, considering I do still have some PS2 games I love, and money went wierd when I could have gotten one, I'm still on a PS2, though I could just go get one NOW I have to watch the market and certain news to see whats going on.

I play GH1 and GH2... I just beat God of War 1 and 2... and sometimes I pop in Shadow of Rome.

I still have yet to begin God of War 2 and Shadow of Rome, just sitting there collecting dust . I got to get around to finishing up God Hand, that game rules.

That's completely untrue. Sequels/remakes don't always improve upon their predecessors, and they rarely render them obsolete...

Agreed. Although, SSX on tour was good, but wasn't any better. More of the same.

I was playing Kingdom Hearts RE:Chain of memories yesterday.

There are still some blockbuster hits I haven't played for the PS2 such as God of War 1 & 2, ICO, and Shadow of the Colossus. But yeah, I still play MGS2, MGS3 and DMC3 every now and then.

You don't have an option for "I have a PS3 but also realise there are excellent games on the PS2 worth playing".

That's the one I'd go for.
