I am looking for a good game that has split screen and coop, a game that is similar to Killzone. I tried Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood, but the graphics in split screen for that game is worse than graphics of doom 2Now I a thinking about getting Ranbow Six, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, or maybe Area 51, or any other game that plays as good as Killzone, and has good co-op.

There's a few co-op games that I can mention. But remember, it matters whom you'll be playing the game with, is it your wife or friend? and what's the level of that person, hardcore or casual. I'm guessing casual. I can give you a few names if you give me that information.

Timesplitters: Future perfect. Has jokes and brilliant gameplay. Plus with the mapmaker mode you can never run out of levels to play.

I would personally say, get Champions of Norrath or Return to Arms because that's just an amazing action RPG and the gameplay/graphics are extremely top-notch and it's probably real cheap right now. That is if you guys like long-lasting games with RPG elements but keep in mind that it's a hack & slash game, it's in real-time. Not turn-based like Final Fantasy that people sometimes don't like.

Acually, I prefer FPS games, so I think I will get time splitters. But That Return to arms still sounds pretty good too.

I think you will enjoy TS3 then, it's a pretty damn good FPS that has a co-op in it for PS2.

Timesplitters series offer co-op for PS2. Timesplitters 3 is the best, really funny sometime.

I think that one mission with the zombies was classic. Reminded me of old FPS levels.

why dont you try the PS2 version of the original Half-Life, it has an exclusive co-op mode called Decay which is pretty cool, but the Graphics are not that great (if that matters to you).

oh yea I completely forgot about that, I knew I was forgetting something. Unless you can get that game used off ebay or gamestop for 10 bucks, I don't think it's worth it. Maybe like a rental because it doesn't have any multiplayer features. It's still a kickass game though.

Metal Slug 3-5

not a fps-game but a 16-bit-side-scrolling game... it is action-packed and fun to play though
you could always get Time Crisis 2/3 or Vampire Nights... now thats a shooter game which you use a gun as the controller

Dynasty Warriors 4 or 5.
It's an awesome game if you and your friend are bored. You just go around and toss guys around, it's pretty chill."It's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.

How much can you actually do in GTA: SA plit screen? Can you do rampages? Fire truck missions? Police missions?
Could someone describe how much and what things can you do?Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

Nope and the camera get screwed up too, it was really made to drive vehicles and such. It changes from the dynamic 3rd person camera to a distant static camera where it doesn't follow your movement and turns but just tags along. So basically the best thing you can do is drive around together. The game itself is kickass though, so I'd say go with that but you'll be mostly playing it single player.

I am going to have to say that Shaolin Monks Ko-op is not worth playing at all. The camera angles are horrible and the implementation for the characters is horrible. The cutscenes are pre rendered, but in game, so your characters teleport everywhere when they need to be on the other side of something at certain points. The game is ok, but there was almost no time put into the ko-op or the secondary characters (scorp and sub, which are 100 times better then the main guys in my book).

if you want a good SS co-op, go with Splinter Cell chaos theory. But just be prepared to get very frustrated with each other. it's funny, cus when you play with someone else, you start whispering so the enemies on screen don't hear you. then there are times when your just duking it out cus your friend accidentally got caught right before you were about to finish the mission...good times...

The draw-distance of nightvision and other visions are very low in the co-op of the PS2 version. I'd say that's more like a rental because the co-op missions are pretty small. Correction, they're tiny, they usually take a couple of minutes to beat.
