Ok, there may be no hope for me but I'll ask anyways. I was playing Gran Tourismo on my PSP (launch) and popped the memory stick out to play in the PSP 2k. It won't take the save cause it's locked to the first psp. Anyway around this problem yet? I can't seem to find a way to change the psp's MAC address, which I think would do the trick. I understand they're trying to cut down on cheating, but this is pretty weak.

hey i have another question im using the media go and the video file and its just ****ing slow. i know if i dragem it goeswayy faster but i wanna do it via the media go. anyone know what do here so i can speed up the transfer?
also
this was in their help file but that so called advanced transfer option is nowhere to be found... or am i just doing something wrong? When you transfer a file, Media Go prepares the file for transfer based on the optimal settings for your device. However, you can adjust these settings prior to transferring the file using the Advanced Transfer dialog.
- If your device is not already connected to your computer, connect it now.
- In the navigation pane, choose the appropriate category (such as Music, Video Clips, Photos, Podcasts, or Playlists).
- Select the files you want to transfer to the device.
Press the Shift key and click to select a range of files. Press the Ctrl key and click to select individual files.
- Right-click and drag the files to the device. When you release the mouse button, a shortcut menu displays. Choose the Advanced Transfer option. The Advanced Transfer dialog displays.

Unable to connect to network

For what ever reason I am unable to connect my PSP (or my DS lite, though that's entirely different) to my wireless network. Why? I tried both with and without the saving power setting on (& off). BAH!

You have to have your network broadcasting in mixed mode (if you are using g or n for other devices) because the PSP only has wireless B

My PSP used to work PERFECTLY with my home wireless connection... but for the last few days it hasnt been able to detect it. Nothing has changed, and all of my other wireless devices work :S
And yes, the switch at the top is ON.
I changed the PSP firmware to the latest one, does that kill some types of wireless connections to it?

That shouldn't affect it. Try resetting the router with the button on the back or wherever. You won't lose any settings. If that doesn't work, delete the connection in the PSP and re-do it.

There may be settings in your router for transmit power. You know how to log in to your router?
I've had two routers crap out over the last few years. Sucks.Gold Medal, Conn Smythe, Stanley Cup.

How does game sharing work?
I purchased a go and it's time for it to go (yes I know)
I got it with 4 free games and installed them already, I deactivated the system but kept the games installed. Obviously, they are not playable right now. If I sell the PSP go and the new person buying it activates it with their own PSN ID will the games be playable again of does it absolutely have to be activated under my account? When the Bogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
when Chuck Norris goes to sleep every night, he checks under his bed for Daryl Dixon!!

I got FF7 and 8 on one user, and other games on my other user, unless the PSP is registered to the user that bought FF7 and 8 - I can NOT play FF7 and 8. It tells me "This content cannot be accessed on your account." when I am using the user that hasn't purchased FF 7 or 8.
In short: He'd need your PSN account.
