Even if they don't get relegated i can see David Villa leaving in the summer, who he joins is another question.

Villa is quoted in the papers this morning as saying he'd rather join Arsenal or Liverpool than Chelsea. I think he'd be great for Arsenal, take a bit of pressure off Adebayor on the goalscoring front.

Ah, but im still not sure Rafa will be there come next year, he doesnt seem to be the happiest of men in the middle of the conflicts at Anfield. I think if a big enough job comes up on the continent then Rafa will be off to avoid the damage that a protracted power struggle at the club could cause.

But why would David Villa be talking to an English newspaper, guy can't even speak it afaik.
I happen to think Liverpool won't sign him because they have Torres, if he's got any sense he would go to Arsenal or United, that is if were even considering him.

Well, when the sports pages say spoken to, they probably mean his agent/friend/uncle, but all rumours are good rumours. I love the summer break, transfer speculation is always fun.

You mean like those 3 offers Real Madrid have made for him in the last year alone that he has constantly turned down?

In no article or interview has Rafa come out saying he is considering his future. Infact he has already made 3 signings for next season. Kinda speaks for itself.
