The new home kit is dreadul. What a lazy effort. Could have been designed in MS paint
New away kit is even worse
![]()
I won't be getting either
Around February when all the fan made mock ups and potential new shirt designs are flying around you always know the ugliest, least Arsenal looking one is the real kit and so it proved again this year. Can't just blame Nike though, it's the club who tells them what to do and choses from a selection. Although for the pittance Nike are paying us you would think they could at least try
Thing is Adidas kits are rubbish too. We should do what Liverpool have done and just sell to any obscure sportswear brand who happen to want to give us plenty of money for the right

Yeah I'm not feeling that away kit at all. Wonder what our 3rd choice will look like.. It's a shame coming off the back of this years kit, which was absolutely beautiful imo

Jeez, they are both bloody awful!
The home kit: when I first saw the first released design of it, I thought it was fake! It looks like a retarded traffic light, or a Man Utd kit. Terrible!
And the away kit: surely we'll have a third kit because the fact that it features a red-like colour is definitely going to throw up some kit clashes.

Nah I fancy the home one, it looks OKAY. It's certainly grown on me since it was first revealed
The away kit looks clownish

stupid wenger debunked the M'vila rumors. I hope he still fully intends on getting Yann. We'd really do well to get him.

How can you call Arsene stupid? Come on! He flat out denied that Arshavin was coming.. and guess what happened. Whether he signs M'Vila or not doesn't change the fact that he's smart.. the only question is whether we can afford M'Vila (you know how greedy agents are)
But I have a feeling that in the end he will come.

You're more right than wrong Firefox. I seem to remember when the Podolski rumours first started filtering through around December/January I think it was, Wenger was quizzed on it and he said we don't need him, we have Henry back
. He can be such an epic troll sometimes lol

Arsenal are going to open a new store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre, literally right opposite the store I work in.
This news sounds lovely, but honestly I don't think it's going to last.
The lot it will be occupying has seen at least three or four stores take its place within the last year, if it's exclusive to one club, once people have enough merchandise I reckon they'd struggle, and just the prices to see a store day in and day out will be tiresome.
Would be nice to see some legendary players knocking about though, or even current players when the store opens in July.

That's pretty cool, might go check it out one day. Haven't been to Brent Cross in ages though, used to go there a lot when I was a kid with my parents ha

Absolutely 100% legend, Arsenal through and through. Hope the boys take inspiration from his dedication to Arsenal and go out and get a win today
The consquences of losing today are far too great - praying for a win !

Arsenal: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Santos, Rosicky, Song, Coquelin, Benayoun, Gervinho, Van Persie.
Subs: Fabianski, Djourou, Gibbs, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Ramsey, Chamakh.
NO RAMSEY - I actually gasped. Ballsy move by Arsene, different from his usual stubornness! Not sure how I feel about Jenkinson starting in such a big game, would have preferred Coq at RB but this team definitely can win well today. Coq in MF will allow Song to be even more influential with his passing
Come on you Gunners.

Holy shit man, I am SPENT! This is the craziest finish ever. And we were very lucky today that Ben Foster was injured. I blame Fulop for all 3 goals really. But man, Yossi Benayoun and Gibb's legs for player of the game. what a day.
Not to mention Aguero. i mean just holy crap. Can you imagine being a city fan at that game?you game? http://www.ps3forums.com/showthread.php?t=55990

Benny deserves to be signed up. He's shown higher ability than Ramsey and to a certain extent Rosicky, whenever he was given the chance by Wenger - in fact, he was one of only a handful of players who looked like they gave it their all today, and he's on loan from a rival!!
All in all, I'm spent too - emotions overshadowed by what happened at the Etihad...after an Arsenal fan, I am a football fan afterall
. What a crazy day! Unbelievable, amazing advertisement for the best league in the world. Almost as good as '89!
Despite our poor showing today I'm glad we got the job done, that's all that mattered. Did anyone see Wenger's anxious hugs to Pat Rice near the end of the game? Says it all really, we need that CL money. Hope we make some inspired signings and maybe even more importantly, get rid of the dross in our squad
Edit: Just wanna add, despite ping-ponging from 3rd to 4th in the last few years, and the trophy drought, I think the team did what they had to do this season: survive. I think we've done more than that, to grab the automatic CL place - great effort from where we were in Autumn. By surviving we can push on, Wenger knows that too.. I don't think I've ever seen Wenger so rollercoaster in terms of emotions than at the end of that game, he obviously has plans for us - I just hope they're ambitious plans
Chelsea to lose the final and Sp*rs to get knocked out in CL qualis ^Last edited by Nitey; 05-13-2012 at 17:58.

Arsenal will discuss a new contract with Robin van Persie next week.
The Dutchman played a significant part in the Gunners finishing third, ending the season with 30 goals and is out of contract in 2013.
“We will have a chat next week somewhere,” Van Persie said.
“You never know but Arsenal is a massive club, a great club.
“I have been playing here for eight years and I love this club. Whatever happens that will never change.
“We will see. We will have a chat and go from there.”
What do you make of that? Bring on MotD anyway.
