With all this Ibrahimovic talk.. Kolo's performance against him in 2006 at Highbury was just amazing!
Vermaelen still has a long way to go. Gallas should have left not Kolo.

Kolo was a beast in the CL run to the final. Was never a fan of Gallas but he had a lot of drive which we seemed to lack through the squad during those times.

Wenger should have just signed him! Imagine Henry and Ibra up front
. Hindsight is oh so great

Are we all aware of the reason why we never actually signed Zlatan?
If not: Wenger wanted to take him on trial, and apparently the response was - "Zlatan doesn't do auditions...". Big mistake!

Well he seemed to have calmed down. When he first signed for us he was a right hot-head. I remember when he came on as a sub in a Carling Cup match and then got sent off about fifteen minutes after. I couldn't believe it! He was playing dirty the whole time too. But then after that he seemed to cool down and he was stable. However, it seems that some people always have a sneaky streak inside them that you can never change - as is the case with Van Persie, in my eyes. I mean, I give him credit for not acting like a knob and celebrating against us when he scored for United recently.

Robin isn't classless I knew he wouldn't celebrate when (not if) he scored against us. Top bloke tbh, just didn't see eye to eye with Wenger and the rest about Arse
You bet he was celebrating today though. What a result. Always tough to play through 10 men whatever anyone tells you and we certainly had a job to do and did it well.
Giroud looking the business at the moment! He'll be pumped for Montpellier at home too
Walcott needs to seriously sign now. I swear with every game that passes he's proving he's worth every penny that his agent may be asking for - and you'd think there's a chance another big team will come in and offer him much higher wages than he's even asking for at Arsenal. Getting nervous about this saga tbh. We look a different team going forward with him and Sagna down that right. If Gazidis and Wenger fuck this up then I seriously give up on our board/management once and for all
All in all though, good win
All the goals, with the exception of Poldis, were lovely
Gotta say, those Germans sure know what it means to play in a local derby. Loved the energy in their celebrations
Edit:

Made me smile during the gameLast edited by Nitey; 11-17-2012 at 16:23.

Walcott and Santos not available for this game.
Gervinho and Gibbs are back though.

Put 'em away.

Sweeeet. We've missed Gibbs. Might as well give Gerv a run around too if he's fit.

Welp, job done
. Hopefully Montpellier can hold Schalke on final matchday and we win at Olympiacos. I don't see all that falling in place but it would be nice to finish top. You just know we'll get Barca otherwise...haha. Probably get Real Madrid if we finish top actually
What a goal by Lulu

great game. We were sloppy in our passing but it was so nice to see players dribbling up field and playing early, creating chances. Game was was actually rather exciting for a change. Hope we continue this. I'm very happy for Jack.

I agree, it was definitely an enjoyable match unlike much of our recent games. Hopefully we've turned the corner and are back to pre-international break form

So I got that feeling that Walcott is leaving in January.

Back to the form we showed pre-spurs. Honestly, playing against 10 men really had our MF shining in that game but it's clear we need a tactical overhaul - whether that's a change in formation or a more clear picture of what each players role is. Something needs change.
I don't think it's just a case of no walcott/wilshere playing. We'd have looked slightly better I think but something is missing :/. Still, could have squeezed a win today..
