Fantastic performance, I must say. Brilliant interchanging, pace and movement. Napoli are no pushovers, that's for sure. Ramsey's continued his fine form and Ozil's proficiency seemingly knows no bounds. Main issue is probably still a lack of frontman options even if Giroud's constantly improving, it'll be a fascinating CL run it seems.

I was trying to watch while teaching some 40 odd people how to play 9 ball pool bizarrely enough. The first half hour we were just insane, our dictation in midfield against such quality opponents was almost beyond belief. Just to be clear for anyone who wants to point out that Napoli are the 4th ranked team in the group, they had only dropped 2 points all season until last night; and last season's runners up are the 3rd ranked team in the group!
I do agree with you about front man options, particularly with Walcott out for a few weeks. Although having said that Ozil's finish was something from the heavens!

Wouldn't be surprised if Arsene enters the market for a striker come January, provided their momentum is still chugging along. The problem lies squarely with who's available and maybe most importantly who's cup-tied in the Champions League - it'll be around the time of the last 16, things will be hotting up. Perhaps Walcott/Sanogo/Podolski can lend themselves as real viable options but a real big name wouldn't go amiss. It's not very plausible, unfortunately.

Forgot about Sanogo. Is he injured too? I'd feel more comfortable had we more healthy strikers.

That is the goal we have been trying to score for the past 8 years lol. It's done!

Great game today, all 4 goals were excellent and we could have scored a load more. Only negative was that really dodgy 20 minute spell where we looked like a bunch of strangers. Slightly worrying but the last 10 minutes made up for it

Ermm... WOW! That is a little bit insane. We had best be game of the day on Sky Sports later!
I'm just glad we got through this without any serious problems, Flamini did have to go off with concussion but I can't see that being a problem. We also lost to Norwich after an international break last season so it could have been a banana skin but a pretty commanding performance from what I hear. We just need the villa to get some points off those pesky spurs tomorrow after Newcastle did us a favour earlier. Speaking like it's April/May already haha!

Just 18 minutes into Arsenal's 4-1 win against Norwich, Jack Wilshere completed an exquisite combination of passes and scored a goal that is being hailed as one of the greatest team goals ever. The passing was so quick and skillful and breath-taking that, like a solar eclipse, looking at it can cause permanent retinal damage. For your own physical and mental well being, do not watch this goal. And if it's already too late for that advice to save you, then we can only apologize.

Wilshere's goal qualifies as pornography and sets an impossible expectation for how real people can play the game. It will only make other Premier League clubs feel inferior for being unable to replicate it. It could drive Barcelona to disband their team and force Lionel Messi to become a strip club DJ. Rumor has it that beleaguered Manchester United manager David Moyes has already changed his name to a guttural sound and disappeared into the woods after just hearing about it. If children were to watch it, they would realize the futility in even attempting to play the same sport as those who have achieved such unspeakable greatness and be doomed to a lifetime of self-doubt and candy that tastes like melted hair.

In the interest of public safety, we will not be showing this goal.

Emirates Stadium is now a danger zone where all who enter must wear protective glasses and body condoms to avoid being blinded and impregnated all at the same time. Sex is now just a primitive form of Arsenal's style of play. Abstinence is the only reliable contraceptive.

Forget the importance of trophies or money or breathing — this goal is the greatest achievement in all of human history. Future generations will hear the tale of Cazorla to Giroud to Wilshere to Giroud to Wilshere and whispers of how it was once viewable in a strange format called "gif" and they will dismiss those tales as too fantastical to have ever been real. Instead, they will choose to believe stories of the prophet Harry Redknapp telling his players to "run around a bit" and congratulate themselves for evolving. This will be the only way our species can ever start dreaming again.

The power of Özil is simply too strong. You have been warned.

Arsenal at 6/4 isn't too shabby at all; put in Barcelona and Chelski and baby, you got a stew goin'.

I know we beat Norwich, but with a Ravens loss in the NFL this week, I can't take an Arsenal L at the Emirates.

Needs a goal, takes off this season's most prolific midfielder and puts on Bendtner.

Raging. Dortmund did absolutely nothing in the second half, then scored. Then trolled us with their antics. We didn't play well but were still the better team. Gah

Win some you lose some. We should have with. Lewandowski shouldn't have been on pitch but that's hindsight for you. We didn't play bad nor get battered. We will play them at the same game away.

Well, Dortmund's main advantage is their pace on the wings for counters obviously, especially away from home, so if there was ever to be a fault levelled it would be with an Arsenal full-back. This time it was both Gibbs and Sagna who were culpable, well, less so the latter given it's a home game and you're pressing high in possession to get the victory. Gibbs on the other hand's caught and decides to press the counter when he should've held back and charted the run. Too easy for Großkreutz to measure that cross for an open and on-rushing Lewandowski. That being said, they're a crazily fast side so it's easier to do on paper than it is on the pitch.

Match-up's perfectly poised, no injury worries either if I recall correctly, well bar Flamini. He'll be a massive, massive miss if he's not fit.

We have loads of injury worries lol. Flamini getting injured is huge yes. Walcott, AOC and Podolski all picking up mid term injuries at the same time was very annoying but we've done ok without them. Cazorla too

I think Liverpool will get a result. 2-2
