its an alright update i suppose, at least the ps1 library is starting to fill up.
im still a bit annoyed that we still don't have games like everyday shooter, pain and bowling. i can't see whats taking them so long. i realise that they have to change the languages for europe, but that cant take that long, its not like they're RPGs.
may try out N20 though, i had never heard of it before but i just did a bit of reading and it sounds pretty gd
EDIT: just to add i am very impressed with the amount of dlc that they're releasing for Folklore, i love the game and its nice to keep seeing new content for it

well its almost 2 weeks into jan and what an amazing first few weeks its been for the PSN - a great start to the new year i say......not only has every week been ****, it actually seems to be getting worse, Sony scraping the bottom of the barrel for content each week. What a sad, sad online experience this is. I hope the US store gets something good as this is just crap......and don;t even get me started on Singstar PS3's amazing online service as promised to us by SCEE and London Studios.....
SONY = WANK = ONLINE

Hmm, havn't heard much about those ps1 games; I'll have to check them out.
Motorstorm content seems really cool, the rest I'm not that interested in.
Still no Pain though; where's it at Sony?

stop bitching guys,if you live in uk then this is a good update, N2O is kick ass, sadly none of the psone games is on the norwegian or german one atleast, for some ODD REASON!....
ohwell, lets hope we can get it from the pc shop.

I hope you EU/UK guys don't mind us AUS/NZ people chipping into your threads as we basically get the exact same as you every week.
I have to agree with everyone. It's crap enough that the PS3 can't have downloadable last-gen (PS2) games, let alone giving us average/obscure old PS1 titles.
If you must give us PS1 games, how about Resident Evil 1 & 2, why not the Wipeout sequel 2097(thats what it was called for us), or even the first Metal Gear Solid?
The slow, slow, slow, release of PS3 titles that the US has had for ages is starting to get outrageous too. Along with everyone else, PAIN, Everyday Shooter and High Velocity Bowling are needed now!psn id: craigiversen.
Currently playing: A whole lot of GTAIV - trying to 100% it while PSN is down. Mortal Kombat off-line.

01-10-2008 #25And the rest.... its been said many times before but where is the likes of Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Turbo? Been on the US PSN for months.... can Sony support give any EU person an ACTUAL REAL reason why they havent given us the pleasure of being able to buy it.Along with everyone else, PAIN, Everyday Shooter and High Velocity Bowling are needed now!
Dont get me wrong, I'll happily buy it from someone in the US via paypal, although all my requests havent been answered yet on the gamesharing thread
Its the only thing that really annoys me about Sony's online plan.... or whatever they want to call it lol I've not a problem with anything else, but I fail to see any benefit to what they are doing with all the different PSN's.
Fair enough I get that some games may not be appropriate or need changing for different areas due to licensing laws etc [or whatever] but games like Super Puzzle Fighter.... what possibly in that could be bad? i mean there are more violent games etc on the market for one lol
er.... rant over
