I love the site first of all
I would like to suggest if I may, some organization to the PS3 Games Section
maybe if you were to add a sub-forum and add all the games in the PS3 Library(PSN Store as well) in alphabetical order and make them the official threads..sort of like on xbox.com
just a thought/suggestion
thanks for reading![]()

No, that was different. They had genre sub-forums, not game sub-forums. He means like at xbox.com where each game gets its own forum. It works well at xbox.com but I don't know if it would work so well here, I think it probably would but it's the admin of it that would make it a bind (unless Morph gives the mods the ability to create sub-forums beneath PS3 Games)

IMO theres too many subforums now, I used to like how messy it all was before now people ask for a subforum and it gets created the next day. The admins must be in a giving mood.

18 Sections - 10 Sub-forums. How could that possibly be too many? I'd say that's a pretty low amount in regards to how many there could potentially be.
As for this idea, I'm against it.
This idea works real well if it is implemented early on in the forums life. Usually when it is added after the forum has hit a successful place, it just fails miserably. Everyone is now too used to posting in the section that's been mandated for a couple of years now. That usually means they're not going to change their ways, since people tend to have that problem in general.

Another more successful forum such as neoGAF only has 2 sections, Gaming and Off Topic Discussion, I prefer it this way because all the gaming discussion is in one place and all the off topic non gaming threads are in one place, yes its a bit cluttered but it takes away the tedious process of going through each subforum, also by having so few sections the amount of views each thread gets is increased. I'm not saying there should be 2 sections here but right now theres just too many sections which really do take a long time to go through.

neoGAF is also a multi-platformed website. So having a "Gaming" section is suitable. On a site primarily for the PlayStation, it would be kind of odd to have the Microsoft, Nintendo, and PlayStation threads all in one place.
Not to mention the amount of backtracking you'd have to do on countless pages to find the thread you're looking for. With how many threads are made daily here, it would take up 20+ pages of threads. That would just take way too long to read up on new things being posted... Then if someone posts in a thread on the next page, it goes back to the first page and you have to essentially start over, lol.
I don't know, I guess it's really all moot though since it really comes down to personal preference, eh?

I really don't think it should be recommended for this change, it would cause too much of an uproar and screaming bloody murder. Besides, everyone has it down to the tooth (somewhat except for noobs) of where a topic holds some relevance. Don't break whats somewhat cracked right?
