At least Sterling got his debut. That's all I can say about that match. It's clear many of the players gave up entirely after the Arsenal defeat. And that's unacceptable. It was a tough result, but we were still within short distance. Now it's way beyond reach. It's been beyond reach for the past few weeks. At least we're finally giving some young players playing time.

Firefox you had plenty of fans even a few just in the psu thread this season wanting Wenger out lol.

Yeah DC there's no doubt that 4th was our goal. But I said way before we were out of 4th contention (maybe not in this thread im not sure), that given the choice, I would take a cup double over 4th. We still have the chance to do it, and at least we definitely give it our all in cup games.

I want to give KD time, i really do but the money he spent and the players he brought with that money is what really pisses me off, even if he did not buy them he still had hand in who does sign.

Relax there. I wasn't attacking this thread specifically even though most here got fed up with Benitez and his 'tactics'/substitutions.

Black bin bag movement didn't even happen.. no bin bags in sight .. the fact that you mention that suggests that you read the Daily Mail or some other Tabloid and you've been reading the papers too much. If you really want to know what Arsenal fans are thinking .. you'd have to go to Comedian Alan Davies for that one he does a podcast but you wouldn't be interested of course which I understand since you are a Liverpool fan. Or the Official Arsenal Fans' Forum

But still Arsenal fans (Tuesday Club Podcast, Official Arsenal Fan's Forum etc..) have always been angry with the Bullshit in the papers saying we were in crisis and weren't going to finish above 8th .. even some of our fickle fans agreed.


The only thing the fans were really mad about in games were the ticket prices in relation to early perfomances.. more anger at board with Silent Stan and statements by Gazidis than anything.

I agree he never should have left. But the situation was beyond anyone's control. He was not sacked because of poor performance. Sure that season was bad, we were supposed to be title contenders. But he was sacked because he made the problems with the organization and ownership public. In the end that was best for the club though, because it ultimately led to the excavation of those d-bag owners.

As far as Kenny goes though, I want him to succeed, and if he wins the FA cup he will be given another season (though if he chooses to walk that's a different situation). However, I do not have that sentimentality in the situation because I'm not old enough. Plus I've only been a fan for a few years largely because of how little television coverage the PL had until somewhat recently.

But if he does go in the summer one way or another, I'd gladly give the job back to Rafa.

Yeah but he looked lively in those 7 minutes. I don't think he'll get that much time so soon. He'll get more, little by little. Adam's injury will see him get plenty of games on the bench so it won't be an issue. I also liked seeing that Eccleston was on the bench for the match as well. Hope Suso gets some time soon too but I think he may have a slight injury at the moment.

what kind of piece of shit do you have to be, when you're winning 2-0 with 5 minutes left, to go down simulating that you've just been head-butted to get one of the most well respected players in the game sent off, after you've just fouled him. should be a retrospective ban for HIM. also an unpunished handball on the line from the same player. and they call Suarez a cheat..

no excuse for our performance but the refereeing was complete shit. handball ignored, 2nd cisse goal a mile offside, and then the reina red.
