A very entertaining game, we go 4 years with 1 goalkeeper but in the last 3 have 3 different goalkeepers...

Great performance from everyone except from Flanagan and maybe jones( for the second penalty)

Nice to see Carroll score and we won a game!!!! Finally haha but yes, it does seem pretty pointless.
Maxi again shows why he should start, 10 goals in 11 starts!!! Hendo and Shelvey had a brilliant game, especially as they had to change to different roles and Coates shows why he should be ahead of Carragher.

United play on the anniversary of Munich, in fact they actively go out of their way to make it a big occasion full of memory.

And? That's their choice to do so. If they chose not to play on the anniversary of Munich that wouldn't be a problem either.

We can play on the Hillsborough anniversary when justice is done. It's a big deal not only to mourn the losses but to spur on the fight for justice.

You still get 3 days rest. Every team plays on 3 days rest multiple times throughout the season. It's something you have to deal with. 2 days is something to complain about. 3 days is pretty standard. Especially when you're in the CL.

I think if the fixture was sceduled then you should honour it, that was all I was saying, plus it does fuck around with our schedule, what with the fa cup game against spurs as well. The way I see it is that if an arsenal fan thinks its unfair on chelsea, it must be pretty unfair.

because at this point everyone in the city and club has a routine of what they do on the day, including assembling at Anfield for a memorial service with speeches, reading of names, etc. everyone in the club including the players is involved in that.

Can you tell me how 3 days rest is unfair? Professional footballers play on 3 days rest all the time why is it such a big deal now. At least they're not playing Tuesday. Twice this season we've played Sunday and immediately on Tuesday, on one occasion we lost our best player for the entire season, and on the other Manchester City agreed with us to move the game to Saturday because they were in the same situation but it didn't happen. The FA did fuck all about it because of bullshit TV deals. At least this is a legitimate excuse.

If it's not my club advancing I don't give a shit about what other teams in the league do in Europe, especially a plastic club like Chelsea.
