It has to be offical now right?
That we have missed the most opportunities in a season. Right?
We really really need someone who can score.

Its really annoying knowing that if at least HALF of those shots were like 10 or so cm to the left or right then the league would have been a different story.

saw a chart not too long ago but cant be bothered to find it now. it took into account every teams balls that hit the post or bar and what the table would look like had all of them gone in just to show whose season has been affected most. it would give us 11 more points and move us up to 5th with only a couple points off 4th. another team had 9 points and the highest after that was like 4. mind, this is from a few weeks ago and we've had a fair few posts in the past few games lol.

speechless at the quality of that hat trick.

What an amazing 3rd goal.
Good to see Carroll not on the teamsheet and win comfortably.

Are Norwich fans that pathetic that they boo off a player who just scored a sublime hat trick? Hope their season falls away and they get relegated.
Idiots.

Suarez is always going to get booed due to his past.
1 FA cup goal doesn't mean he's instantly our best looking player. He's either an incredibly lazy player or an incredibly stupid player, the amount of times I've seen him aimlessly wander the pitch, walk up the pitch during a counter attack from a corner, never get in the box for a cross, stand in one spot for corners and hope the ball lands on his head.
This is a great example.
I honestly want rid of him asap, and for Kenny to stop trying to wedge that square peg into a round hole. He isn't the type of striker we want for the style of football we're trying to play and Suarez will never have a good partnership with him. Carroll is there for knock ons and Suarez is there for creating chances from nothing. Who's is there to finish these chances? Replace Carroll for a smaller pacey goal poacher and we'll stop creating records for hitting the woodwork.Last edited by Xelis; 04-29-2012 at 06:38.

Carroll has been playing well lately
"Raise your weapon, one word and it's over"

You're watching a different player Xelis. Carroll's attitude lately has been much improved. He busts an absolute gut, he chases back, in fact you can often see him defending late in a game if we hold a lead. His hold up play has been excellent and his touch has been very very good.
Getting rid of him in the summer now that he has started to come good, after sticking with him all season would be BEYOND thick.

We bought a striker though, 4 league goals in 32 games is worse than some defenders...

He won us two games, one of which got us to the finale.
He deserves to be kept and given a chance. Saying that i do hope when Carroll is playing we don't change our whole game just for him, like we have done before (mainly crosses). He has a pretty amazing left foot and a few crosses should be enough for him.
All three of Suarez goals were world class, very hard to do. Up their with the best hat-tricks IMO.
Lets hope he stays clinical.
Compared to our last game, we dominated a lot less but scored more, happened a few times this season.

Rasmus Elm is apparently a done deal for 8m. And Gaston Ramirez is apparently just about done for 16m.
Surely this means we have some midfielders on the way out. My guess is Adam sold and Shelvey/Henderson on loan.

Liverpool Reserves 0 - 1 Fulham
Definitely up there with the worst/most boring matches of this entire prem season.

The less we talk about it, the better.
We really really need new players.

Funnily enough I class Liverpool as reserves when Suarez isn't on the teamsheet too.
Sharp fall from grace. 3-7 years ago we were easily the most entertaining side, earning the title of comeback kings, I wonder if next season will be the mother of all comebacks....

I think its a bit harsh to say we have been boring and showed no heart.
Throughout this year we have had many games were we dominated, had many shots but just could not get the goal. I think we have great potential, i mean if just half of the game were we drew resulted in a win( which we deserved) then we would have had a decent season, finishing 5th with only a few points off 4th probably.
Now my opinion on KD will depend on summer, will be do what is needed and bring in good attacking players who can finish?
I hope he does, if we win the FA cup then i would count this season as a success, not in the PL obviously but in general.
