So we definitely have a few more people coming in. And they helped in the manager search. One of those is STRONGLY suggested to be Txiki Begiristain. Not in the typical DoF/Sporting Director role though as Rodgers refused to work with one, but in a similar position with less control. More of a collaborative effort with Rodgers ultimately having final say.

And now, a toast to a player I think will prove himself under the direction of Rodgers.

i wonder how we will do next season!! The aim is the top4 (a must) & domestic cups only main issue i have, LFC doesnt seem to have the right strengh to win the PL Title, in my eyes suarez is a good at scoring goals an everything but we seriously need some fire power aswell i sure do miss alonso kuyt is leaving due to being benched an lack of games! cole maybe back cause he worked with rodgers before at chelsea, adam's isnt what i expected an reina is our best keeper but he seems to be lacky now :/ so next season losing to bottom half's is a no no an mean a no no we making us look $#@!e. i hope brendan does a good job looking to see what he got for us.

    And another thing.

Sad to see Kuyt leave. But it's probably best for both him and the club to move on at this point.

    What's up with the collar?

On Kuyt moving. Most annoying player in the clubs history. No touch, no skills, no pace, no technicall ability. But scored some important goals and was lauded for always running....much like a farm dog. Odd how he can make a living out of something he is pretty bad at.

Martin Kelly scored more goals, made more assists, made more tackles and won more trophies than Ferdinand last season. Fact

I think taking Kelly over Ferdinand is a much better idea.

Not being bias, but Kelly is pretty much the future of England, he is young and will be playing in the squad in the future, better to give him more experience. He already is doing very well in the U21 squad, so Im happy for this decision.

Rio throwing his teddy out the pram, he's constantly injured and wont see another tournament after this one, Kelly has been solid, can play right back or CB, isn't a liability with injures and has his whole future ahead of him.

Sure Rio is the better defender but we all know we're going no where in this tournament so we may as well start rebuilding, which we should have done long ago.

    No contest.

Sigurdsson deal just about done apparently for just shy of 7m.

And according to Uruguayan press we are in negotiations with Bologna for Gaston Ramirez.

Not a bad start if we can get those two.

A full back making more tackles and getting more assists than a CB, sign him up Fergie!

He hasn't been injured at all this season, he has been fitter than a certain England captain has been this season, and played more games than him. (Also playing 8 games in a row at the end of the season).

Rio is absolutely class and has been instrumental for United this season, amazing how people dismiss him as "past it".

It is obviously because Terry and Rio can't play together and for whatever reason the FA or Hodgson have gone with Terry; that's fine with me, when England crash and burn Rio won't get blamed and he will be fit for the new season. Win, win.

However I am happy with Hodgson taking younger players, apparently he wanted to take Walker but he was injured so he went with Kelly, he said the reason he went with Kelly is because Rio is "too good to be on the bench" (Which is a hilarious cop out) so Kelly will get the experience of it.

    Fair Enough Roy.

Some amazing goals from our Suarez here.

Hope he is as clinical this coming season!

That run he did, my god, IMO he is probably only second to Ronaldo in terms of skilling players out( and that's by a small margin)

Spurs trying to hijack Sigurdsson (shocker ), so that's held up atm.

Italian sources claim we've bid 15m for Ramirez.

And recently we've been linked with James Rodriguez of Porto.

Better than the away kit IMO.

At least they're all unique, and not Adidas/Nike template #7
