yeah looking like it. apparently they offered him 70k/w, which is ridiculous money for him. we probably offered like 40-50k. i'm not too bothered. if spurs want to overpay for him, go ahead, we'll find other players. it's actually a nice change to not give stupid wages. we'll pay 70k wages if a player's worth it. i think he will be a good player though.

Rodgers said in an interview the other day that he wants 3 or 4 players though.

I would guess that's a winger/wide forward, a wide forward/striker, defensive midfield cover, and maybe an attacking midfielder.

Suarez has no video evidence nor other players word that he in fact used racism towards Evra but gets fined thousands and gets banned for 8 games.

John Terry has video evidence against him clearly showing he was racist yet he gets cleared of all charges and probably wont get banned at all even going on his past record that he is a utter scumbag?

Suarez was "convicted" in a Mickey Mouse court, where evidence doesn't matter.

Terry was in a court of law, where the evidence needs to be beyond a reasonable doubt.

His technical ability and close control are incredible, but his vision is I think miles ahead of his peers. When he came here a few years back he was also really small, he's bulked up considerably and it shows in his strength on the ball and newfound physicality to his play. I actually think he is currently a little bit better than Sterling, but our midfield is packed and we're low on quality wingers so Raheem will see more game time.

Carrol is going! Loan or perminent move? i hope he just goes for good if hes not in Rodgers plan's then we need to sell him, no point keep loaning him out like kenny done with Aqualani, imo just sell him an get the money even if we lose out on 20 million!! best for everyone then. we need the right team the right squad to get in to the CL again.

word this side of the pond is that Rodgers is looking for £20mill for Carroll, no loan deal acceptable, so Alan Pardew is waiting on Mike Ashley to decide whether to part with the dough to take Carroll back to Newcastle. Carroll himself is eager to get this done due to Rodgers apparent desire to be rid of Carroll. Bit of a shame really, Carroll had just started to find his form....

I feel like there's a good chance for it to bite us in the ass to sell him. What's the harm in trying it for a year? We did all the hard work in getting him back fit and getting him in shape only to sell him as soon as he finds form? That's fucking retarded. If he goes on to score 20 for Newcastle we'd look like fools, again.

If we were to use that 20m to bring in someone who banged in 20 goals then it wouldn't matter, but how likely is that.

if im wrong what has carrol done for liverpool in past 18 months being with liverpool!! all i can remember is that win over man city an the 3-2 win over blackburn. iv not seen much from him at all tbh. an newcastle played better without him as liverpool payed the price at not playing as well as we should of.

Not much. But the last 2 months of the season he was one of our best players, and was one of the only ones who really looked like he gave a shit after we really had nothing left to play for. I think he deserves another season to show what he can offer.
