a few words from someone who has really surprised me and been one of the best, fairest pundits around.
For the Young Boys game on Thursday, I'd go with..
Reina
Kelly Skrtel Coates Downing
Henderson Sahin
Shelvey
Suso Yesil Assaidi

Neville shocked me last season when I had Sky Sports, he quickly become my favourite pundit. His bit on diving, was very well thought out and he provided some great points.
I do however think blatant diving, feigning injury is purely cheating.Last edited by Xelis; 09-20-2012 at 10:20.

And he doesn't even look like much of a rat when he shaves
.
Full squad which made the trip:
GK: Jones, Gulacsi
DEF: Wisdom, Carragher, Coates, Wilson, Enrique, Robinson
MID: Henderson, Shelvey, Sahin, Suso, Coady
FW: Assaidi, Sterling, Downing, Pacheco, Morgan, Yesil, Borini
Very young squad. Assaidi, Downing, Sahin, Carragher, and Jones are the only ones over 22.

More than the loss, more than the shit ref, losing Agger and Kelly hurt the most.
Kelly did his knee and I can only assume Agger broke his leg.
Can be proud, 10 men with a 17 year old and an 18 year old, and we still gave them a game that would have been a draw if he doesn't give one of the worst pen decisions I've seen in a while.

Great game by the lads, except from the not so good finishing (again) we played well.
Sadly Man u's new player, Halsey, was just too good at making decision for Man u ( or, terrible decisions, what ever way you look at it)
From the unfair red card, the the letting off certain man u players off even though they did as bad, if not worse, tackles in the game to not allowing clear penalties...
Also, referees seem to make decisions before Suarez even gets fouled( by saying he dived when he is clearly taken down, maybe a bit easy but enough to stop him from running on), so ridiculous.
If Valencia gets that penalty, then Agger should have got his from Evans holding onto him.

Push on from here, 5 fixtures of the toughest start to a season in a while are behind us.
-

Pretty much, we have Man city, Arsenal and man u...
And Sunderland are pretty good as well.
Sure they were at home, but for a team that is in such a transition and deveoping, a bad start was expected.
Hopefully the players can put the defeats behind them and carry on performing well.
I hope Coates starts, as well as Wisdom. We really do have a very young team, i hope we do get more experienced players ( for the love of god, WE BETTER GET A FINISHER fist of all)
Has any other team ever had as much as a difficult start as this?

Kelly as bad as expected, out for season.
Agger not that bad, will only be a few weeks apparently.
Borini was just swelling.
Well, yeah. You've gotta imagine that for a lesser side, there are more teams better than them.Has any other team ever had as much as a difficult start as this?

Samed Yesil will likely make his debut today, but another potential headline grabber...
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liver...0252-31908663/Jerome Sinclair could become Liverpool FC's youngest player in Reds' Capital One Cup tie at West Brom
JEROME SINCLAIR could become the youngest player in Liverpool’s history tonight after being promoted to the first team squad for the Capital One Cup tie at West Brom.
The highly-rated striker, who only celebrated his 16th birthday last Thursday, will travel with the Reds to the Hawthorns.
Boss Brendan Rodgers is considering naming Sinclair among his substitutes and if he comes on he will beat the record currently held by Jack Robinson, who made his debut at the age of 16 and 250 days against Hull City in May 2010.
Ironically, Sinclair started his career at the West Brom Academy before Liverpool swooped to secure his services in the summer of 2011. He has impressed for the under-18s so far this season and shone in last week’s NextGen Series clash with Inter Milan.
Teenage defender Stephen Sama has also been elevated to the squad for tonight’s trip to the Midlands as Rodgers prepares to field a youthful line-up.
Jose Enrique has been ruled out with a niggling knee injury, joining Lucas Leiva, Daniel Agger, Martin Kelly, Fabio Borini and Jon Flanagan on the casualty list.
Jonjo Shelvey starts a three-match ban following his red card against Manchester United and Joe Cole isn’t yet ready for action having only started training again last week after a hamstring strain.
With only a dozen senior players fit and available, Rodgers will not risk his star names tonight.
Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Martin Skrtel, Glen Johnson, Pepe Reina and Joe Allen will all be rested ahead of Saturday’s league clash at Norwich City.
Youngsters Suso and Andre Wisdom, who made their first team bows away to Young Boys in the Europa League last week, are set to feature again tonight.
There will also be a debut for 18-year-old German striker Samed Yesil, who was an unused substitute in Switzerland.
In the absence of Gerrard, Jamie Carragher will captain the side with Brad Jones deputising for Reina in goal. Nuri Sahin, Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson and Oussama Assaidi should also start.
Agger and Borini will continue to undergo treatment at Melwood but both are making good progress following the injuries they sustained against United. Danish centre-back Agger, who bruised the bone in his left knee, could be back for Saturday’s game at Norwich.
Borini is suffering from a swollen ankle but there is no fracture and he may also return to training before the end of the week.

Great win. Thoroughly impressed by all of the young players.
Assaidi looks a fucking bargain. Beat the right back at will.
Henderson and Sahin bossed the midfield, and 2 goals for Sahin. The first may have been a bit lucky but was well struck, second a brilliant piece of team play.
Suso the inspiration when he came on. Pacheco played well, but faded throughout the game, great substitution.
And of course, Jerome Sinclair became the youngest player ever in the first team at 16 years and 6 days old, beating the record previously held by Jack Robinson (who also played today, and well) by around 250 days.

Just what we needed, to finally click!
Still cant get over that horrible decision, the most blatant penalty i have seen in a long time, ref should be demoted for that crap...
Great performance, the back 4 needs a little fixing but all in all very well played by the team. Hopefully this is the start of the season!!

Holy shit. LMAO.
I didn't catch any games today but that's brilliant

I will agree, that was just so pathetic from him, not sure what the hell he was thinking.
Huth on the other hand, should be banned for as long as Barton, that was truly disgusting what he did, stamped on Suarez.
Ok performance, another game another 10000000 changes missed...
Really need to get consistent in terms of finishing. Most frustrating part was when Sterling did not pass to Sahin who was very open, but Sterling still had an amazing game so its ok, Suso too had a very good game!

How the FA decided to not punish him is beyond be, i bet you £100 if the positions were reversed, Suarez would be looking at an 8 game ban and a fine...
Typical, also anyone seen the bale dive? As bad, if not worse!
-

Haha I'm scum now? I posted it because I thought it was funny. He fucking flops about, I have never seen a dive like that before and it was from a liverpool player. This is a liverpool thread, so I wonder where I should post this? Please click the spoiler tag for the answer
For those that clicked on the spoiler tag, you didn't have to be a rocket scientist to work that out.

Not at all, go to the united thread and you will see there is a gif of Young diving. You will also see that nobody was butthurt in the united thread too. All I did was post a gif of Suarez flopping like a fish, I never said he was the only person to dive.
