You pay google to host you... or you just pay them to get top spot on the list. Not sure how it works.

This is a very ironic answer, but all you have to do is do a search on google.
Expecting the world to treat you fairly because you are good is like expecting the bull not to charge at you because you are a vegetarian.

How high you are on the google list depends on how many people visit your site, and how active it appears to "Googlebots" little computers that search your website for information.
The only way to get more hits is to advertise heaps, become affiliates with sites covering similar or complimentary content, pay for advertising with GoogleAdsense, if you can afford it.
A notepad can be the perfect tool if you know what your doing, but you probably want dreamweaver if your a beginner or say freewebs.com they have a good page maker. Search in google for domain names, you will have to pay for a .com .net .org etc...
The key to a succesful site is how easy it is to navigate, how original the site is, if not original how much better the content is that other sites of the same type, and also how often it is updated with new info etc.

[LIVE] Trophies mandatory starting January 2009
We're sure most of you are getting pretty tired of having to wonder if Trophies are going to be included with this game or that one. Do post-release patches inconvenience you to replay a title in order to gain the Trophies that were added? Chances are, none of you are alone in this frustration and Sony is stepping up to the plate to correct it.
Speaking exclusively with VideoGamer.com, an unknown SCEE representative confirmed that all PlayStation 3 titles will include Trophy support starting in the new year. "Yes from Jan 09 all games must have trophies."
While the confirmation is short and to the point, we have no doubt that this is something all PlayStation 3 owners are proud to hear.
