He spoke about Steklenberg and Sneijder - 2 players we didn't sign. Maybe he is a decoy to try and get City to pay extra for players? since they just try and sign who ever we want.

A bit as you'd expect really. One year isn't enough to show a trend or draw conclusions, but I feel it reflects the quality of the best 2 managers in the league. Fergie on title course with a very low net spend and Wenger on a mission impossible to keep his Arsenal afloat while not actually spending at all, and actually succeeding by some margin. I wonder where they'd be with Fabregas and Nasri still in the side. I think they're a key signing in both defence and attack away from challenging for the league again. That's if RVP stays.

Credit to City today. They're determined to push us all the way. We thought they would collapse but they've found their nerve again. Still, we've got the initiative and all we need to do is keep winning our games.

Yep people were celebrating early, I understand why people got excited, carried away I haven't a problem with that.

We will still win it but it's going to be closer than it looked a week ago.

Wasn't a surprise to me City won these last two, but I was surprised we dropped points to Wigan. City have Wolves away, us at home and Newcastle away for their next three. I'd say things are looking very good still. Even if we lose tomorrow, we could seal it by winning against City away.

Bounce back tomorrow and beat Villa our home form has been excellent.

Fergie will be looking for a performance tomorrow from his team.

Yeah T Newcastle away is a very tough one there chasing a CL place and on top form, tough place to go.

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Fabio is set to leave the club on loan next season.

The Brazilian defender has had a couple of outings at Reserves level recently but has made only one Barclays Premier League appearance this year - as a second-half substitute for Patrice Evra in the 5-0 win at Wolves.

The manager is wary that the 21-year-old needs regular football at this stage of his career and is willing to farm him out to another club in time for the 2012/2013 campaign. After appearing in the Champions League final against Barcelona last season, the full-back has made 15 appearances this term, with many of them coming in Europe or the Carling Cup.

"I hope that Fabio will develop the same way as his twin [Rafael] and, to help him, he will go out on loan next season to give him concentrated first-team experience," the boss wrote in his exclusive column in Sunday's United Review, the official matchday programme.

"I have already talked to him and he understands the value of playing regularly at a higher level than we can give him at the moment."

Might be just what he needs.

How can you be so confident of beating City?? The only side to have not lost a single home game this season.
But, I can't see you losing to Villa... they are shit.

I never said it is a sure thing we'll beat City away. But I do think our form is better than theirs and being the league leaders, as we are, we have a psychological advantage over them which could prove vital in that game. Will City have the mentality and strength to perform at their absolute best if the situation will be that they HAVE to win to have a CHANCE to win the league? I don't know, they've never been in that situation before and it could haunt them.

That would leave us ridiculously light at left back, with only a single recognised player in that position, and he's become sort of a liability. If we're going to loan out Fabio, we definately need to buy a left back, but then what does that mean for Fabio?

Maybe we buy an 27 year old something that is fairly developed whom can play right now but that we can easily sell when Fabio is ready? I don't know, I just feel, with Fabio, or not - we're still 100% dependent on Evra. Fabio has had so much trouble to finish games.

I know they've only won 2 games but City seem to be regaining form after scoring 10 goals in 2 games. However, I do agree that you do have a psychological advantage however, if City can keep their nerve then I could see them easing to victory.

Villa must be bad, they've got that bloke from Jackass upfront.

Hope the rumours of United chasing Muniain are true.

I'm probably not going to be able to watch any of the game. Going to a hockey game later, if my team wins they'll be champions for the first time in 13 years. Very exciting.

I do too. I've been nervous all day But if they lose they still have three games to seal it.

I think 2-0 is a good prediction. Tuning in for a few minutes now at least.

I'm fucking sick and tired of Young's diving. He's the worst diver in the league by miles, makes Suarez look like an amateur. 1-0 but I'm disgusted.
