You know when you start looking really hard at the current squad, the money it will take to re-build it to compete not only in the PL, but in Europe. I quit, and I'm off to go and play fantasy football instead.
Here is my fantasy football team.
De Gea
Walker Vidic Jones Alba
Cleverly Strootman Kagawa(even though I have no idea who he is) Muniain
Welbeck Higuain

3 weeks a go we were dominating, but things fall apart,3 weeks ago no one could ever tell that Guardiula would leave Barca and their golden era would come to an end.Things changed now and if anyone don't think that Manchester united needs a change in philosophy is someone living in denial. We sucked this whole season and let go of an easy championship ( Euro league ) but the thing was covering all the flaws and mistakes was the league title, now with that gone.....

I wasn't surprised Pep went, nor were a lot of people. He only signed 1 one year contract every season, he said there's other things he wanted to do other than football and if the pressure got to much and he was enjoying it he would walk away.
United need a few in but it's not all doom and gloom, there going through a building process, the summer signings last year were bought with that in mind and bought for the future. Like people have said on here we need a few in certain positions and a few need to be shipped out.20...

So you think are performances over the last 3 weeks mean United need a change in philosophy?
Memories are short, remember this season is very much a transistional one, we have signed some young talent and have tried to integrate them, the thing is we ARE going through a change.
Look back to the year 2005 and look at what followed.
Keep the faith man, we will probably bring in a couple signings in the summer to shake things up, Man United will never die!
Heck this season isn't over, a 10-0 win over Swansea and it's on

EDIT: Roy Hodgson appointed England manager...with a... FOUR YEAR CONTRACT ..WTTFFF

Yep season still isn't over...
Yeah a few new faces in the summer will help the rebuilding process. There's some great young talent in the squad now, plus what is in the youth academy.
Woy was the cheaper option and has a lot of exprience.20...

I am right, United will be fighting for the league next season.
To be honest, I don't like blaming injuries but that injury ridden Blackburn game (Park and Rafael in CM) is the game that will cost us in the end.
Actually I guess the Everton game
Oh it's so tragic, we should have won it really.

We don't need an complete overhaul of the starting eleven. What we need is depth and new role players.
I think Roy is the right man for England. He's very humble and down to earth, which I think is perfect for an over confident England team.Other opinions are available.

Over confident?
Half the country know that we are shite!
(Although I am sure the press will hype us up to no end.)
Back in the day we were over confident, but back in the day we had a decent team, 2002 was our best chance to win something, Scholes was great at the World Cup that year, shame the genius that is Sven thought it would be best to shove him on the left for Lampard.
Scholes Hargo and Gerrard midfield trio would have been an absolute beast, a mixture of all action and passion in Gerrard, Scholes pulling the strings and Hargo's energy to protect the back 4...
I fucking hate this country so much
we are a million years behind every other country tactically, why did we go 4-4-2 v Germany?! Capello is fucking Italian he should have known.. grrr sorry it makes me mad lol.

I'm glad it's not Harry, the obsessing over him annoyed me to the point where I would want anyone but him.
Would be amusing if Hodgson didn't select Liverpool players because they left him to walk alone.

Haven't seen the game (biggest game of the season I know, just had other obligations), so I can't comment on it. Unfortunately it looks like title over now. All I can say is well done to City. I absolutely despise them for the manner of their rise to power and I'll never be able to have the least bit of respect for the club, but I can't fault their team. Winning the Premier League isn't easy, they were very strong over the course.
Having said that, this United team will go down as absolute bottlers. It's one of the worst bottle jobs in the history of the Premier League, while our so called experience should've taken us over the line. Experience only counts for so much if you can't manage any sort of form in the final stages. This season can only go down as a miserable failure on all fronts and no player should go into summer feeling anything but utter disappointment. Capitulating a title to such bitter rivals in this manner is just a kick in fucking nuts.

Yep Tut, Newcastle play Chelsea away tomorrow, so they will prob be out the race for fourth, then they will be tired and deflated and City are going to be SO up for Sunday, ridiculously up for it, they will score early I predict and romp it easily.
QPR lost 6-1 at Chelsea, they are gonna do jack.
It's over, i'd rather treat it this way and brace myself for the worst.
Anything else is a bonus... a might big bonus.

I agree that our chances are second to none, but until we're mathematically out of the title I refuse to give up. But given how badly we've played under pressure this season it isn't a certainty we'll win our remaining games.
