I am happy Woy got the job instead of 'Arry. Redknapp has no idea what he is doing at Spurs so all the better for us..

Considering we spent £50m this past summer, I don't think the Glazers can be blamed for the loss to City. There's no correlation to prove that more money would have helped us win. I think SAF got the players he wanted that could be signed.

it was the 4-4 draw that eventually lost us the title we should've won.

If we lose the title, that is the game we should have had for sure. But it is easy to, in hindsight, say we should have spent more money on these players etc. The challenge now, and the real test, will be to bounce back next season.

Bounce back? how. like many fear, once city win the league, they should go on to have thier era....... we cant compete money wise and they will only get better, and we STUILL need to solve our CM issues.
Example, hazard WILL come to us or city.......city are SLIGHT favs to get him.....and if they become champions of englans, well, thats it...
Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

People said the same about Chelsea when they had their best period, we bounced back from that. We'll be competing for titles for years to come, no need to worry about that.
Money isn't everything, often a times heart wins over money. I'd say we needed to play with more heart this season rather than become a team that compete by buying fully developed players for huge amounts of money.Other opinions are available.

As VP would say.
Just when you get all depressed at a United result, the scousers go and cheer you up..... a big thanks KK, I needed a laugh.
All the talk of losing the title..... Wigan. If that game had been won, the title would have been finished. And now I have the Frank Sinatra tune in my head.

We shouldn't splash big cash on a 27, 28 year old. Should spend it on players under 25. No need to panic there's still some quality players in our squad just need a few additions..

As Tut said, people were saying the same thing about Chelsea, they won 2 league titles in a row, had lots of money to spend and had Mourinho as their manager. How did we respond? 3 league titles in a row and beat them in a Champions League final.
Our squad needs improving of course, but lets not forget a few weeks ago we were 8 points clear. If we were not good enough to compete for league titles we would have never got a lead so big. Last 4 games we threw it away, but that wasn't down to lack of money or anything like that, it was down to the complacency of the players who basically considered the title wrapped up and were over confident of the experience everyone was saying we had with winning league titles.
It's terrible the way we have ruined our title hopes but the players will learn a lot from this and hopefully come back stronger than ever. Younger players like Jones, Smalling, De Gea and others will have gained even more experience and have lots of potential to go on be big stars for us. There will be new additions to the squad as well and will be back next season to get our trophy back!

Yeah I saw that and thought it was a little distasteful.

Roy speaks excellent Swedish believe it or not, he was my favorite pundit when I watched the PL on Swedish television week in week out some years ago. I have great respect for him. I really think he'll be excellent as the England manager.

The problem with being England Manager is that your doomed from the start and set up to fail. Sounds harsh, but it is. For the last god knows how many years we have had some of the worlds best players and they just don't perform. Not just down to the manager either.

I thought "Woy" was used more lovingly after hearing it throughout years by his "fans". I apologize for using it.
