Meant, we still resigned to getting players on the cheap, he has a year left too run. i know he is pretty decent,

if we can get hazard, a combative CM and a left back, ill be happy

Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

Kagawa represents tremendous value at that price though, I think he can really fit in our team as well. I'd be super happy with that signing if it happens.

But yeah, we need a fighter in the MF and a LB as well for sure.

Yeah he can play Kagawa I'd be happy with that signing. I'd take Tiote and a left back as well.

I'd sign the scouts from Newcastle.

Anyone else think Fergie looked really flat at his press conference today? He's probably still shocked that he had more fire in his belly on Monday, than the players did.

Looking forward to the 100 million spending spree.... but I'm betting right now the same team will start next season.

Kagawa is an interesting player but his position isn't really a priority. Of course if we can get him relatively cheap then we should go for it. Our first concern however should be a mobile midfielder who's comfortable on the ball. At the moment Cleverley looks to be our only mobile midfield option going into next season (not ruling out Anderson, but he's far from a certainty), and that's real problem. Javi Martinez is a name that keeps coming up and with good reason, but there are other options out there as well.

If we don't adress our inability to cope with pressure in the centre of midfield I'll be very disappointed. That's where we lose our big games.

I think we have better scouts than Newcastle, the thing is the type of teams that isn't fighting for the title can take bigger risks in terms to transfers. If Newcastle buy someone unknown and it doesn't work out it is no big deal. But if United do it, it's the end of the world. Just look at Bebe..

    ----

Regarding Martinez, I don't want him at out club. He called Ronaldo a clown yesterday. Never in a million years do I want a player that disrespects a club legend at our club.

Disrespectful and disappointing if true, but I'm not going to judge anyone based on a single incident. And Ronaldo isn't a club legend by any stretch. One of our finest players but you legend statuses don't come cheap at our club.

    Who?

Martinez was just adding fuel to the fire that is Bilbao v Madrid.

Either way Ronaldo is being talked about and no doubt loving all the attention good or bad, and lets be honest he always has been a bit of a winker.

    Here is what will happen:
City vs Newcastle = Draw or Newcastle wins.
Man UTD vs Sansea = UTD wins
City vs QPR = City wins
Man UTD vs Sunderland = Draw or Sunderland wins.

Anyone try the PES2012 demo? Pretty impressive to me!

And Ronaldo is a "club legend"? Come on.. of course he's one of the best players you've had all-time... BUT the legend status is reserved for those who have served the club for a very long time and love it above the other clubs and can't be enticed to leave.

But you can say that he is your best player this decade.

So idea if it's PES2012 or 2013 but the demo just came out on xbox this week. (had Tottenham, Bayern, Inter) in demo.. I assume it was 2012 since Eto'o was at Inter. Regardless.. I was very impressed.

Reports had suggested that the Manchester United midfielder would be forced to hang up his boots as a result of the condition.

Fletcher was forced to take a break from football in December and has been working his way back to full health ever since.

United have been with him every step of the way and Ferguson is pleased to report that the Scotland international is making promising progress.

He insists retirement talk is well wide of the mark and believes Fletcher could be drafted back into the Old Trafford this summer.

    Hopeful

"We're hoping he will start pre-season training," said Ferguson.

"He is on the recovery road at the moment in the sense of some work he is doing.

"But we can't assess it because we don't know enough about it.

"Darren's medical people are dealing with it and our doctor has a good idea of the situation but at the moment the boy is doing his best to come back."

Good news but will be tough for him to return to his best. Would be risky not to buy a replacement for him and rely on him returning to his best. I guess Pogba could be his replacement and buy else where.

Manchester United star Pogba says 'Yes' to Juventus switch

Teenage sensation Paul Pogba has decided to quit Manchester United and sign for Juventus. The France Under-19 midfielder has turned down a lucrative contract at Old Trafford to join the Italian outfit. His decision was made known in a letter from his agent Mino Raiola to United chief executive David Gill, but there has been no contact between Pogba, 19, and United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
    More Here

I think he is a good young boy,but we won't miss him especially if we supported the midfield this summer, there is a strong rumour that Hazard is very close to join and SAF is very interested in him, personally i've never seen him but i hear he is great young talent.

If Pogba was good enough he should have been in the team. But when your agent stands to make a few bob from you moving to Italy, you're going to be moving to Italy.

As for Hazard. The rumour in Manchester is, City have been showing him around the flashiest houses in Gorton.

I just hope it isn't another summer of, no value in the market excuses. Which reading this it could be.

We will probably add someone to the squad.

Yeah don't forget we spent a bit of cheddar last year on De Gea, Young and Bones Jones so it's not as if we don't spend anymore.

My, is it season ticket renewal time once again. Like Christmas it seems to arrive quicker every year.

I've actually given up on transfers and all the speculation. Pointless getting your hopes up these days. United sign players City don't want, and City sign players United really want/need.

The big announcement in the summer will probaly be, United sign exclusive sponsorship deal with(insert name here) for the rights to put their name on the players underwear.

One of the biggest and most exciting signings last summer was the DHL deal.

Are Newcastle losing yet? I don't wanna look.

I don't know who this is,but if he is another winger then he will be useless,no matter how good we have 3 good wingers, we need someone to replace Scholes and Cleverley alone wont do it
