If you are really rich .. buy a dozen of the new kit and you've got yourself a nice high quality picnic blanket.

Edit: beaten by Shibby.. never noticed his post but I do say my execution is better.

So Pat Rice is retiring and I put up footage with Manchester United of the amazing 1979 FA Cup Final.. you might want to check it out to see the Manchester United of old.

The match was a VERY close one.

Our last few hours as champions. Lets try to enjoy them.

Also when City do win the league today I do not want to see all of your knees jerking at the same time and go mental at Fergie. Lets not forget that City have had pretty much 0 injuries compared to us, and we had to play Blackburn with Park and Rafael in midfield Our injuries have been an absolute fucking nightmare; however off course I hate using that as an excuse, and it isn't, it's just a point, and City will be worthy champions (JUST!.. JUST!) and if we do by some miracle win it (We won't) then we are just about worthy too.

I don't want to see any stupid posts when City do win, United will make changes in the summer (Kagawa is surely coming, hopefully!) and a few more I imagine, we will be right up there next season, mark my words.

    Remember United will never die!

    Also Dc enjoy your gloating.

It's going to be a horrific afternoon!

I think we will draw at Sunderland and City will win at home. (I know it is a very negative post, but I am braced for the worst).

You can't stop the inevitable. There will be a lot of doom & gloom from our side and an influx of fans from other teams we've never seen in here before to rub our faces in it. Until the next season starts, you're going to have to take it on the chin. But at least there are plenty of distractions: Euros, Olympics, Tour de France if you're into that.

Yeah It is a shame because we have thrown it away more or less, probably the biggest collapse of all Premier League years to be honest.

    But Congrats to City.

City have the best home record in the league, QPR have the worst away record in the league, it's not a case of if City will win it, but it is simply by how many. I hate to be negative, you all know that, but I would rather brace myself with the knowledge that we will probably lose the title by goal difference this season *Cry*

If sports we're predictable like that it wouldn't be any fun to watch! Logic may say we don't stand a chance to win the leauge but logic is often absent in sport.

At the very least you can give him a chance before you judge him. A lot of teams are interested in him so if we do land him we will do well.

Also read this article about Kagawa; http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereven...united?rss=yes

He seems perfect for our team.

I feel like an emotional wreck today, we are going to lose on GD. When Man City win all we will here about how the blue moon has risen and it's a new era. I am not sure about Kagawa as I have never seen the guy play. We need a world class signing this summer and I hope we get it. Sir Alex will be looking to get transfers done early.

I take that as a sign he wants creative players this summer.

In other news Vidic won't make the tour.

Good. I think the idea of a defensive midfielder/ball winner is a role in football that is no longer needed or allowed. Tackling is being diluted every year.

Regarding Kagawa. Some think he is a better player than Hazard, at a fraction of the cost. And apparently he wants to join United, that is all I need to hear from a player. Hazard it appears is going around flashing his titties at anyone with cash, perfect player for City.

And at least the title ain't going to scouseland.

I'd say any comments about our midfield can't be considered knee jerk, not by a long shot. Many have been complaining about it for years and it's becoming more and more clear each season just how badly we suffer because of it. If we sort out our midfield we have a realistic chance of winning the lot again, what with our attacking and defensive talent. It HAS to be addressed in the summer.

The knee jerk reactions are normally the ones calling us rubbish etc..

If we win 9-0 and City win 7-6 today then there will be a play off to decide the title.

Some highlights of Kagawa in the German Cup. One of the commentators is having a Neville.

Good team. Whatever happens, I hope the team can finish the season with a win.

    EDIT:

Plenty of striking power on the bench:
