Insane. That was insane.
Well done to United, no other team could have finished 2nd, joint on points. I mean, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham were no where near in the end and United were with a squad which needs fresh legs, no doubt about it. That's testament to the United spirit and belief.
This guy will have them back stronger next year, imagine the emotion here:

It means so much to these guys though, they deserved it:

I'll say this, the derby games for the foreseeable future will be fights to death. They, in effect, decided the title this season.

Yeah got a strong nucleus of a side just need a few in and younger players have more experience now also.
I wonder if it will still be united and City battling it out of will Chelsea, Arsenal or even Spurs push on and challenge for the best league in the world.
Could just be United and City battling it out for a few seasons now. Big club v Big money.20...

Pundits have said this was the worst Man United side under Fergie, but we we're minutes from winning the title against a team that has spent more money than most people can comprehend! This team isn't done by a longshot, everyone at the club will be even more hungry next season.

Well I'd like to say thanks to United and City for one of the most entertaining title races ever in light of one of the most disappointing Liverpool league seasons ever.

I don't like it, but you are worthy champions. I don't even know how this is possible, but in some bizarre and twisted way my respect for City has gone up massively on this final day of the season. Yes a team assembled by outside money, but I can't keep banging that drum. United did its part in commercialising the game and City are a symptom of what football has become today. No team outside of the traditional top can realistically challenge for the league anymore without a significant influx of money. Not a good situation at all. Therefore I feel we can't really complain about it.
Money got you this squad of players, but to produce a finale like that... Just shows there are players in there that aren't just in it for the money. That spirit and determination isn't something you can buy. This league victory will go down in English footballing folklore. I cannot just write this off as a meaningless or hollow victory because of the Arab money anymore now. So enjoy this feeling, you've waited long enough for it.
And now for us United fans we start looking to the future. I take comfort in the fact that it can't get any worse from here on. We've been utterly destroyed by Barça in recent Champions League finals and now this. Whatever happens in the next few season, it could never match this in its cruelty.

Guys on the money thing. Not sure how accurate these figures are but I saw a stat that said cost of city starting XI: 161 million. Cost of United starting XI: 169 million.
Obviously yours has been over many more years, but you guys do still spend a lot of money.

I'm sure that's true. But also consider that City have been under two different owners and changed their whole XI more or less over a few seasons. Over the seasons they we're owned by first the Thai man and then this dude, they've spent a lot more to get this PL winning side.

You can't win them all. Let's just hope that this spurs on the players who will part of the next season. We also need to look at who will be joining and leaving. This summer is going to be interesting.
