I would love him, but truth be told, we aint gotta clue who he will sign for. Despite the luckiest and most undeserving CL winners ever interest him now, i still think he will sign for City. im really surprised that we are going up against city again for a player.....

Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

Well it might not be too bad for United if Hazard goes to City.. you'd get Bale most likely since he says he wants to be in the Champions League next year.

Spurs rejected a 40m pound bid for Modric despite a transfer request. I can't imagine what they'll be holding out for with Bale.

The French season ended on Sunday with Hazard claiming a hat-trick in a 4-1 success over Nancy in what looks certain to have been his farewell appearance.

Both Manchester City and United are in the running for his signature, whilst European champions Chelsea have also emerged as contenders in recent days.

Paquet now says another club are also in the mix for Hazard but it is the player and not Lille who will decide.

"I am not sure he knows [who he will sign for] himself where he will go, so for the moment, we don't know," he told Sky Sports NewsHD.

"From my knowledge he has four teams interested in buying him.

"It is not up to us to tell to him [where to go].

"We have a very strong relationship with the player, we will work together and are waiting for him to make a choice between these four teams."
    Sky Sports

The fourth team must be either Barca or Real Madrid. A lot of French news outlets seemed convinced yesterday Hazard had reached an verbal agreement with us. I can only imagine Spanish interest being the only thing keeping him from signing.

Would be great news if that was true and he did sign for us.

I'd imagine Bale would cost a ridiculous amount judging by Spurs past.

This Hazard story has the smell of Nasri all over again.... although, it also reminds me of the De Gea transfer.

The magical white sheet might just be making another appearance.

If you don't try/ask you never know. Besides, being at United wouldn't be a bad place to play football would it?

    Hazard tempted by Chelsea

WAVING GOODBYE ... Lille midfielder Eden Hazard

EDEN HAZARD last night revealed he is leaning towards a £32million move to Chelsea.

Lille’s attacking midfielder has been offered £250,000-a-week by the Blues but is also wanted by Manchester City and Manchester United.
The Belgian international, asked about joining the Champions League winners, said: “That’s possible. But until I pen to paper I won’t say where I’m going.
“Of course it makes you think as Chelsea have won the Champions League.
"They’re a big team and will be playing in the Champions League next season."
He hinted Chelsea had promised him regular football, adding: “They have great players and I always said I wanted to be playing.
"I think there is the possibility to play as well.”
Hazard, 21, one of the sensations of the French League, has been continually watched by Premier League sides but in particular, Manchester City.
Reigning champions Lille surrendered their title last night by finishing third, despite a 4-1 win over Nancy with Hazard scoring a 34-minute hat-trick.
He had initially promised to confirm his future but he said: “I still don’t know yet, otherwise I would have announced it today.
"Nothing is done yet but it will happen soon.”

I'm really bored of this bloke now. Fergie should move on and offer Bilbao a large amount of money for Muniain.

This fooled a lot of people, it is a good one though.

Like Rooney he would be heading to United in the midst of another rebuilding job – but the potential rewards are massive.

Ferguson is trying to create his third Champions League-winning team by injecting exciting young players into his squad.

He has already beaten back Abramovich’s billions – and is determined not to be drowned out by City’s Abu Dhabi oil.

The smart move for Hazard would be United. And I'm not saying that as a United fan.

Whatever happens with Hazard, I hope it's done soon. I hate sagas. I have to say either of him or Kagawa would be a significant improvement if we're looking to play with an attacking midfielder next season. If that's not our plan though, I don't see the point. Wait and see I guess. One thing's for sure with playing Hazard in midfield, you'd need 2 other midfield partners who'd put in a great defensive shift. Basically, this signing doesn't change that we still need that long awaited midfield addition.

Fergies still doing a lot of work for the future of the club snapping up young players still, good to see unselfish work.

Hazard he may end up tossing a coin.

Oh possibly. Can't really see barca or Madrid being that interested. Althletico ? Or there's that other team with a new really rich owner.

    Hazard.

Getting fleeced on transfers by Spurs is a bad habit. Didn't Modric publicly say he wanted to join Chelsea?

Knowing the price Levy will want for Modric, United might be able to get both Hazard and Kagawa for the same fee.
