How is Kagawa a back up to Hazard? Unless you plan on using Hazard in the centre? :S

Any more news on Hazard?

None so far. But the day is still young.
Apparently our first bid for Kagawa was rejected because Dortmund wanted more money. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/t...urned-down-as-

I'll be more disappointed if we don't sign Kagawa than if we don't sign Hazard

No, what I think he meant was that if we don't get Hazard we will get Kagawa, right Manutdfan?
Hazard plays in the centre very well apparently, I think that's where we would use him.
I don't think we will get anymore news on Hazard till after the friendlies so try not to get too excited guys
Also I don't blame them for rejecting our first bid, first rule of negotiations, never accept the first offer

I honestly don't think it will be either Hazard or Kagawa, I think we're going for both. Hazard more as a Giggs replacement and Kagawa more as a Scholes replacement. But obviously, we might not get both or neither for that matter.

SSN have just recycled an old story, we knew that 3 days ago!!!
cant see him or kagawa playing in CM tbh.
And dortmund are having a laugh if they think we are gonna pay more than £15mil for a frigging unknown Japanese player in the last year of his contract!
and can we afford or spend close to £45mil on 2 AMC/RW/LW players?
We kinda need a left back and some CM Steel!Last edited by three3-times; 05-24-2012 at 15:55.

I think a deal has been done for him to join one of the three. All this nonsense of deciding in the next few days, I don't believe it. He must have a club he wants to play for, he isn't that much of a merc is he? I'm sure if Fergie sensed he was all about the money, he'd have pulled out of any deal.
Whatever happens, makes me admire Ronaldo a little bit more. He wanted Real said so and went, end of story.

I wonder if Fergie leaving soon has any effect on players joining the club.

It might. I'm sure being managed by the best manager of all time has a value to players, for sure. But hopefully, they understand United will try and replace Fergie the best they can when that day comes.
One year with Fergie should be better than one year without, too. There's no other club they can join and be managed by Fergie so they should appreciate any time they can get.
