Obviously you never know how a player will fit in at such a large market as Man United but from what he's shown at Dortmund he looks the real deal. His attitude seems 100% right as well so I can't help to be excited. Looks exactly to be what we need.
But I do recognize there's no guarantee he will succeed for us.

There's still a good amount of time to sign more players, after the Euros are over it will get into full flow...

Not sure that is true, negotiations seemed to be ongoing for BOTH Hazwhoooored & Kagawa. And even if its true he was the second option, he wanted to join the club, that matters more than anything. Wasn't Ronaldo a second choice?
He hasn't put the shirt on yet, but like the rest I think I've got a man crush coming on. His attitude is fantastic.

Yeah great attitude, you know he'll have a great worth ethic and be respectful being Japanese.

I still think if Ł40-Ł50m came in for him they would sell.
Didn't Beckham and Ronaldo sign new long term contracts before being sold?

Man United will play Barca in Gothenburg, Sweden 8th of August. Tickets go on sale next week. I have no money

Pretty hard to do that in a week. Between the presumably über high ticket prices and the extremely expensive train tickets I don't know if it can be done. Might even need a hotel since the trains stop late in the evening... Might as well fly to Manchester and watch a PL game for just a little bit more money.

Yeah sure, United have tons of supporters here. Almost every time I go to Ikea or whatever I see someone with United clothing on. And I don't really live in one of the big cities (around 95k inhabitants). The football in our domestic league is of such a bad quality so most people pick a team in another league to follow I guess.
ABBA is still big but the kids seems hooked on Swedish House Mafia nowadays.

Everton defender Baines in the dark over Man United switch
'I've been aware of what's been said in the press but I don't know much beyond that,' Baines said.'It doesn't do any harm [to be linked] but it doesn't do any good either.'It's just one of those things that tends to swing around this time of year.
'People put two and two together sometimes they get four and sometimes they get three or five. It gets other people more excited than those involved.'
Italian side Napoli are also monitoring the situation.
