The mistake I think people are making is believing SAF is speaking about the total finances of the club. He isn't. He's coming from the point of view if he's getting the money he wants to invest into the squad - which according to him he is. And if they invest the money he wants them to invest into the facilities - which they have.

Fans take a broader look at the total business, I don't think Fergie gets involved with that at all and for good reason.

If someone was paying me how many millions a year, I'd support them too. He does make a good point though, United have probably had their most successful period during the Glazer ownership. People seem to remember the PLC through rose tinted glasses.

The owners do support the club, look at the money being spent on the new Carrington facilities.

I in no way support the Glazers, but if the business is doing what it is supposed to do and the owners are happy, what can you do about it?

It's all about expectations. Some fans seems to think there's football owners that owns a club because they love the club. I just never thought that was the case. In the end, Man City, PSG, Chelsea etc will get equally, or more, ass fucked as we are by the Glazers. This is business.

That's what it all comes down to nowadays, fans are struggling with coming to terms of being customers. And United probably have the best moaning customers in the world.

I think the last owner who loves his club is Dave Whelan and before that Jack Walker, there are not many clubs owned by people in it for the love of the club. The PL billions have seen an end to that.

I say stop the whining and get on with it.
