Maybe you don't use enough profanities?
I don't understand Fergie going public on potential targets. It is either at 70 he has decided if you can't beat them join them. Every other club makes it common knowledge who they want, United normally do not. Or as I think more likely, season tickets are selling slowly?
I agree with that twitter bloke though, now his agent has come out and said its off. Sao Paolo might just want to cash in before the players 20% rises to the reported 30%.

I think Fergie goes public because it fits his plan. He's surely trying to put pressure on Arsenal and Sao Paulo to make a deal happen sooner than later. After going public about it, there's no chance Arsenal or Sao Paulo can say no bid was made etc. I think Fergie knows exactly what he's doing but it can still backfire.
But eventually he won't be there. It is a fact of life. He might get tired of investing in Chelsea or he will eventually die, we all do. Nobody walks the earth forever. Football clubs must learn to have contingency plan because the worst will eventually happen. A football club can live forever but its owner won't.Last edited by Tutankhamun; 07-24-2012 at 14:17.

Glad Kagawa got the goal. Pretty boring match overall though.

So the IPO in New York has been postponed and it's future uncertain. I'll be stunned if you sign Moura now.

I seriously doubt the IPO, or lack of, has any impact on this summer transfers at all. An IPO takes time, the budget for this summer was probably set last summer. Next summer may be different.

Bottom line, fuck the parasite glazers.
Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

Essentially this.
So if we do sign this Lucas fella, will he be used as a winger or will he rotate with Kagawa? Also great vid Static, if this is what he is like when he's rusty, I can't wait to see him fully fit and playing in the team.
We got an absolute steal for him, thank God after missing out on Ozil for peanuts we were due a good deal.

Yeah, we really need a solution to the Glazer problem rather sooner than later. Not sure how it could happen though. I wish they would just sell of their stock and reduce their ownership but they wouldn't get maximum value with the debt. Bit of a catch 22.
SAF would probably test Moura out on different positions, don't think there's a set plan where he would play.Other opinions are available.

We don't have the same perspective as Fergie. He looks at it from the angle if he gets the money he needs to get the players he want's - which he does according to him and Gill. We (fans) looks at the broader perspective which I don't think he cares about.
So I wouldn't say it's not subscribing to the same views, rather we see different things from where we're sitting.Other opinions are available.

The ownership is the only thing that really gets up a United fans nose, so ABU's love to pick at that bogie.
If its true about the float being shelved, not a huge surprise. Only a complete moron would have invested in those type of shares.
My gripe with Fergie is. He always goes on about not paying over the odds, but he doesn't mind how the Glazer clan purchased the club. From the outside the debt looks like it is holding the club back, yet he defends the owners whenever he can. And seems to have a pop at the customers/fans in the process.
The Glazers are here for the long haul. I take no interest in their other businesses, but I'd guess United is the only one still making a profit, even with its massive debt and crappy times. So would you sell it?
The Glazers bought a Supercar and are trying to run in on chip fat and have a manager who deep down is a tight sod = perfect match.
No wonder David Moyes is favourite for the United job when Fergie leaves, he's had the prefect audition at Everton.

Sahin going to come to the Premier League on loan according to Marca.. I wonder if Ferguson or Wenger are interested.. and out of the two who is more interested in the idea.
