Didn't really pay attention to the game but Keane said him and Cleverley were outstanding.

Carrick also became captain when Lampard went off. Which makes the whole affair even more hilarious.

We are still the biggest club in the world in THAT sense and always will be, but the glazers have still fucked us!!!! and no amount of spin from Gill will tell me otherwise

People are also forgetting that at arsenal, rvp HAD to play most games as they are/were a 1 man team and couldn't ever leave him out, rvp wont be starting every game for us and we can rotate.

Finally gives Rooney an opportunity to rest. I admit, for the last few years, I've been nervous when Rooney hasn't played. Now we have two world class strikers right now. And we have Welbeck and Hernandez starting to rise to the top.

I'm more worried about the LB position than the midfield. We literally have no cover for Evra. Not sure that's going to work for the whole season.

Bwin won't be on the shirt. They've purchased the rights to be the exclusive betting partner.

That's how the Glazers are funding these buys then with new sponsor deals, since they've took over they've done well in regards to bringing in a lot of new sponsorship deals. Shame about the rest...

No offense to her, she's a good looking woman, but if you are used to this

I don't think you are particularly interested in that.

    Is that Natasha Giggs?

    Edit: Oh it's Imogen.

Edit 2: Rooney is married to a lovely woman. He still went and did a Granny. So I don't always buy that argument.

This was posted in he Arsenal thread but I'll answer here.

Yeah. We need to sell Berbatov for sure now. Probably Macheda and Bebe too. Saw some stupid rumors we we're selling Hernandez but that I don't buy at all. Fergie said himself today he wants a 4 striker partnership like '99.

The thing is that would mean 4-4-2, which is scary, but kind of exciting attack, attack, attack! Is Rooney going to continue to drop deep and rotate with Kagawa?

I'm thinking maybe we're going to change the formation between games more often than before. Especially in Europe. I just hope Rooney doesn't get pushed to the wing again! I'd love him to have a free roaming role between Kagawa and RVP in big games.

We'll probably start as a 4-4-2 on paper but will change a lot during games to a 4-3-3 etc. certain players not playing rigid specific positions.
