I guess nobody wants to take Berbatov off your hands?
I wouldn't be surprised to see Spurs try to get him back from you.

The way City played against Chelsea provided the width. Milner got in their box down the right loads. It's a good formation and I'm looking forward to seeing it again!
Stupid statements? Can you explain?
I like press conferences with a bit of banter. I remember when Nasri was questioned about his move and the journalist said some may say it's purely for the money his response:
"I know my choice and it's about football and we'll see at the end of the season when we lift the trophy and we can talk about my choice again and I will show everyone who was thinking about money that they were wrong."
So yeah, I like a bit of controversy. :PLast edited by dc89; 08-17-2012 at 21:16.

In the early era of the current City ownership they made players they've heard City had the most local fans and stuff like that. It was awkward and clearly rehearsed, it was fake. I don't like that.

Do you mean Dzeko saying "most of the people from Manchester are City fans?"
Or something to that degree?

I don't remember the exact words but it was statements of that kind from several players joining City. And everyone could clearly hear they we're told to say it.
We could have done something similar with RVP and we didn't. But to be fair to City they've stopped those type of statements, at least for now.Other opinions are available.

I think that's what you are referring to.

Yeah, and De Jong said the same thing;
“I noticed from the moment I arrived in Manchester how many Blues there were compared to Reds.”
and Clichy
"I understand that the people who live in Manchester are the true fans. They are from City,"
and Aguero
"I like to wear blue & white like Argentina. From what I see so do people of Manchester. At Heathrow I saw lots of Manchester United shirts."
It's obvious they were told to say that

People will soon forget about RVP if City sign De Rossi as rumored as his agent is now in Manchester.
He is world class and a central midfielder, ironic how we're chasing the player that would complete United.

No Kagawa is 26. The number is before the player on the United site.

I wouldn't worry. It was Goal reporting Ferdinand had suffered an injury. They are more wrong than right.

Seeing City today, Aguero having an injury, and you guys having Van Persie (sadly one of the best players in Europe)... people would probably now predict that United are the favourites.

Rumours we're signing Alexander Büttner a 23 year old left back, medical tomorrow.

#20 Robin van Persie | Red Devil
