United don't need a creative midfielder, we need a player who can boss the midfield and control the play. Basically, we need someone like Yaya Toure, he is City's most important player if you ask me. I think Cheik Tiote is good shout but he's a dirty bastard.

The Ronaldo situation is becoming more and more interesting. Can't help to wish Gill & Fergie will come out and say they've kept all the money from selling him and will now use it to bring him back. https://twitter.com/Cristiano/status/243055091735748608
If Ronaldo wants to leave Madrid, we should do everything in our power to bring him home.Other opinions are available.

Should put an end to a debate we had over here after the Everton game. He should be more professional with the wages he's on. Lets hope he returns in better shape.Wayne Rooney admits he has returned to training seven pounds overweight

Ronaldo situation is just him doing what Rooney did two years back. He's going nowhere just wants more money.

How many Autobiographies does he come out with? He seems to be talking to everyone these days to sell copies. Most people seem to have forgotten about the saga.. until the injury.

Rooney isn't more overpaid than anyone else. The going rate for a world class striker whom can also play in virtually any other posistion is a fair bit higher than what Rooney is on. He could easily get more somewhere else.
That being said, football players salaries in general would make an interesting case study. Whether they are justified or not.Other opinions are available.

Wazza is not world class. he is very good, but he hasnt got the the world class level yet. if anything, he has regressed.
still he is only 26
Phil Jones out for 8 weeks btw, im still not sold on phil, dunno if he will be a CB or a DM. Either way, with Smalling out, fabio on loan and rio/vida/evans finding their way back to fitness, its still a blow.
Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

I don't know many people that would leave Rooney out on a top five list. He'd easily take a spot in any team in the world. At least that's my definition of world class. Not to mention he scored 35 goals total last season. 27 in the PL.
I'll take such a player 8 days a week.Other opinions are available.
