Well this is what you'd expect from that line-up really. Fergie's performance as a manager so far this season is absolutely horrendous. His team selections are all over the place, it's like he doesn't have the slightest tactical clue whatsoever. It's extremely worrying and I don't like to go against the managerial legend that Fergie is, but he seems to have completely lost the plot.

Not to worry, we have a history of turning games against Spurs around!

Fuck. We got to stop giving teams leads. We played very well in the second half but it wasn't enough.

That 1st half was one of the worst I've ever seen from United. Terrible.
Imagine how good we would be if we played well in the 1st AND 2nd half.
Giggs' downfall is like that of Neville's before he retired. This isn't just based on today but I think he should call it a day.
Rooney and RVP should always play together, Rooney changed the game, he and RVP on form will be special!

Great effort from the lads in the second half, but the damage was done. Very unlucky with our finishing as well (and penalty decisions, but I don't like to blame losses on them). End of the day this is Fergie's responsibility though. We can get away with playing Scholes in midfield (he was sublime in the second half), but him and Giggs is asking for trouble. He's had warnings enough and still he persists. Giggs shouldn't start a single Premier League game ever again. That may sound harsh but the team comes first. He's a complete liability in the league. Not his fault, he can't help his age. Only one man to blame for this defeat, and that's the manager.
Anyway, only September and we've already recorded 2 losses while playing some atrocious football. Yes we're capable of great football like in the second half, but we don't show it enough. With our midfield and tactics I can see us falling further behind in the league. I don't feel like this team has any chance of winning it tbh, I'd probably have to go back to 2005 to feel less confident.

1. You can't keep starting with Scholes and Giggs. A new midfielder is long overdue, you were tore apart in the midfield I'm the first half.
2. Rio struggles against anyone with pace, it was comical today as De Foe and Bale ran rings around him.
3. Fergie is such a joker, moaning about the lack of injury time. LOLOL.

Don't really see how anyone can be critical of Rio because of Bale's pace, he will do that to most defenders, he is very quick lol.

Christian Bale did well on his goal

Dc, I actually agreed with SAF in regards to injury time, 4 mins when there was 3 goals, 5 subs (I think) and loads of time wasting, 6 would have been more fair, but as it is SAF who says it everyone will laugh at him, oh well, I will get over it.
Should have had a stone wall pen on Kagawa and Nani was fouled in the box by Vertonghen, I am obviously not blaming that, because one day you get it and another you don't, shit happens you know. I just want to address 'diving' quickly, my friend says Nani dived (You know when he more or less was hurled to the ground) the thing is, have you ever seen a ref give a pen in the box when someone didn't fall over? I think officials need to take a look at themselves before everyone criticises divers, you don't get a FK or a peno unless you go down, more decisions where the player doesn't fall and less diving. Sorry just needed to rant about that.
Giggs should now be an impact sub, to be fair he only started because we have no more wingers, maybe Rooney could have played there, but hindsight is wonderful.
I felt sorry for the defence, they got absolutely no protection, it was like the midfield couldn't be assed, Rio obviously couldn't keep up with Bale, I mean not many can. Bleddy Christian Bale and his bat mobile.
However onto the second half, I thought we were magnificent and one of the reasons why I am proud of the team and don't feel so bad today, they really tried, it's a shame it took us going down for everyone to pull their finger out, but to be honest we should have won that game, the RVP chance, Rooney hitting the post and some other chances, Scholes was magnificent in his quarter back role, but he will probably be able to do that when he's 50 if no one is pressuring him.
So to sum up, a proud Man Utd fan, we never gave up, and that's one of the reasons why I absolutely love the club!

The noise from the crowd in the 2nd half was incredible, people on Twitter who were there said it's the loudest OT has been for years!
When Lindegaard went up for the corner I really thought he'd score that and run around arms in the air with everyone going crazy.
