According to Moyes. Rooney looks the best he has looked for a long time. Which begs the question, why did United allow him to get so out of shape in the previous seasons, and pay him shed loadsa money?

And, the huge news coming out of OT today is.... United are now officially on something called twitter!

It's a smokescreen by Moyes for his real target, the world elbowing champion Fellaini. Another reason Rooney was sent home, he can show Fellaini around all the best pie shops in Cheshire.

If Fellaini is that good, how come the big European clubs have not been lining up to trigger his clause?

To me it is another pre-season of window shopping at Harrods, but United will end up buying at Lidl..... with an old Harrods shopping bag.

Hope there is truth in this story.

United should have gone for Mata when he left Valencia.

I think it's time to let Rooney go now, but can't sell him to title rivals either abroad or to Arsenal.

Then bring in a big name replacement Fabregas would be a quality signing, would like to see us get Fellani also and maybe Baines.

Arsenal joining in the race to sign Wayne Rooney do you think it would be better to sell to Arsenal. I can't to us selling him to Chelsea but maybe to Arsenal.

If United try and sell Rooney to Arsenal, he might become even angrier than he currently is... and thus Arsenal might end up signing the Hulk.

Funny thing in his leaked angry and confused rant. Rooney feels he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. That might be the reason he is no longer first choice at United.

I don't care either way to be honest. I'm more concerned at who/if anyone is coming in.

Plus i think the way we are handling our transfer business so far is appalling. The rooney saga, public chasing.......while city and chelski are sitting pretty.

even wanyama wouldve been a solid signing.

Talk is barca wont decide until a new manager is in place. That could be really soon. We must stand a good chance in getting him. I think rooney should $#@! off but not to chelsea, unless they give us mata. If we sell rooney I wouldn't mind bale.

3x Fergie tried to buy Baines last season.

Yeah Berty I think we'd all love Bale who would you want more Bale or Ronnie?

Totally agree with that. Get the impression Barcelona are leading United up the garden path, on the fake Cesc deal.

Cabaye would be a decent buy, along with McCarthy. And you could probably get both for the money United are offering for Cesc. I would love to see Cesc in a United shirt, but is ain't gonna happen. There is more chance of getting Ronaldo back or buying Bale, and neither of them are going to happen.

And if Moyes wants a decent Spanish player, go and offer some money for Muniain. Now that would be a stellar signing... well in my eyes anyway.
