I'd start Evra for his experience. Evra is quite good at getting crosses in as well and we do need goals against Bayern. Love Januzaj, would not start him against Bayern.

Nice try manu but you did almost nothing in the first half.

In the end you didn't deserve it and you know it.

Despite the goal Evra was horrid, had a hand in nearly all the goals. The way she $#@!in' goes.

Ahh, What did Bayern do the first half? I hope for Bayern's sake they can play better than what they did across the 2 legs cause there's 2 teams in Madrid that will take Bayern.

Evra was shattered, he's too old for the sort of game he plays. He was so slow in getting out to Robben for the 2nd goal when Muller scored.

Welbeck doesn't half piss me off. He has all the pace you could want, but 0 ability with the ball.

We gave it a half-decent go. Moyes would be damned if he does or damned if he doesn't with regards to Rooney; doesn't start 'em and people would've went nuts. He should've came off, fair enough, but you can see the reasons for him staying on despite how he played.

I don't understand the grief Welbeck gets. Didn't Rooney miss an absolute sitter, set up by Welbeck?

Rooney did, but tbf the ball bobble as he went to hit it. The one where he had the chance to shoot or lay off Kagawa was the one that was a sitter, there was a point where the pass to Kagawa was off so he had to shoot, but he took and extra touch and let Dante/Boeteng get the block in on the shot. If only RVP had been in those positions.

Welbeck either stuffs his shot up like the 1vs1 at OT, or he duffs up one of his touches like he did last night. Beautiful over the defence, and he's in on goal cause Dante and Boeteng aren't catching him, but he stuffs his 1st touch up. In fact, i think he missed the ball.

He has his good moments i'll give him that, but the Bayern games were games where if you had a chance, you had to take it

I wonder if they heard what Carragher said yesterday, I almost fell off my seat when he said he was worried for United.

I think it will be official in few hours, apparently it has something to do with the New York stock exchange market rules.
i always thought he would be sacked but i believed it would be at the end of the season. Now why would we throw ourselves in an unnecessary interim/caretaker situation ?

Anyway i would be extremely happy if we managed to throw huge pile of money towards Klopp's direction.

    My analysis of the situation;

This is an institutional failure more than a failure by Moyes in my opinion. We should have bought Moyes out of his contract with Everton the second they had played their last game instead of waiting for half the summer to go by before he could start working for us. Him starting so late was never a good situation and it completely ****ed us in the transfer market. Gill stepping down the same time as Fergie was also a big institutional failure - losing the two most important people in the organisation at the same time was not ideal. We should have done what we could to keep Gill for this season, this way we could have gotten some transfers done this past summer.

I think we as fans as well as the club thought we we're ready for the day Fergie retired but we just wasn't. Nobody foresaw how huge of a task it would be the club didn't have any direction for about a month before Moyes could start and I think this in large part was the reason behind this failure.

If the Glazers wants to fire Moyes do it today and make sure we have all our ducks in a row for the next manager otherwise the situation may become much of the same. In the end I think Moyes is a good manager and I hate how this has turned out but it was always an impossible job. Nobody wanted to be the man to replace Fergie, everyone, always, wanted to be the man to replace his replacement.

So you think it's completely normal and everyone else's fault that we are setting 7th with a very very embarrassing and poor performance with the players we currently have ? you think Martinez added nothing to Everton with only 2 new signings ? ( maybe 3 i'm not sure) Are you related to him ?

I think it's completely abnormal. But I don't lay it all on Moyes. I think it's a combination of a lot of things, as I've previously stated.

He's officially sacked now. Don't want Van Gaal, too old for me and too old school. Go for Klopp.
